AK is looking for a dedicated coach for our ever growing novice squad for the 2026/27 season!

An amazing opportunity for developing new rowers, with a big uptake from our LTR along with many who are returning to the sport after time away. It’s an incredibly rewarding role!

Previous coaching experience is beneficial, but not essential as AK offers coaching development opportunities too!

We are running a course starting in late August (Wed 26th - Thurs 3rd Sept) consisting of six sessions. Each session runs from 19:00 to 21:30, allowing flexibility outside of work hours

A huge congratulations to our fantastic Julie Watson for winning her event at Henley Masters!!! She is now officially a 4 x winner at Henley Masters, a true legend & club icon!! 💚🩷💚🩷

This weekend, the 64th annual “row to Henley” took place, covering a whopping 89k across 3 days (Sat- Monday) from AK to Henley!
Day 1: AK to Molesey
Day 2: Molesey to Boveney Lock
Day 3: Boveney Lock to Henley Bridge🥳
A huge congratulations to those that took part, with a few minor equipment issues along the way (blade vs lock wall, guess who won 🫣) - everyone arrived in great spirits 🩷💚

AK sent a whopping 5 crews down to Henley on the 19th of June, a record number of entries for the club in at least the last 10 years!! A huge day for woman’s rowing for the club, we are so proud of everyone involved.
