GO SKATE JAM 2026 – SKATE CANADAWATER

Thank you to everyone who came down to celebrate Go Skate Day with us at Canada Water. Whether you joined a beginner lesson, entered the jams, got involved in the workshops or simply came by to support, you helped make it such a special day.

It was amazing to see so many people of all ages and abilities skating together and celebrating what makes our community so welcoming. Days like this remind us how powerful skateboarding can be in bringing people together.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our coaches, volunteers, partners and sponsors. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes, gave their time, and helped create such a positive atmosphere throughout the day.

We’re already looking forward to our next community event this September, and we’d love to see you there. Thank you for being part of Skate Haven—we can’t wait to skate with you again soon! 🛹🧡

📣 Skate Canada Water is up and running! 📣

🛹 Free beginner-friendly skate sessions all summer. Borrow our gear, or bring your own! 🛹

Sign-up, booking, and surveys are now open. 

✏️ Sign-up: 
We ask anyone who is looking to participate in our weekly beginner-friendly sessions to sign up before booking. You can sign up in person as well. 

📅 Booking: 
Once a participant is signed up, just use those same details and it will be quick and easy to book. You can turn up without booking but we can’t guarantee there will be space if it happens to be busy. ❗️Please respect the booking system, if you have booked but are not going to make it, cancel your booking through your email confirmation❗️

🗣️ Surveys: 
Skate Haven is hoping to capture the community’s voice through the “Have Your Say” surveys. We encourage anyone who wants to support skateboarding and its future at this site to fill this survey out! It takes about 5 minutes.

Don’t be shy! We hope to have a little something for everyone. Skaters, non-skaters, young ones, and oldies. Get busy with crafts while you watch. Or get buck and go for a prize! Plenty of giveaways for skaters during Jams. Special awards for “Best Skaters”.

This event is also here to kick off our summer 2026 programme: Skate Canada Water. We are putting on free sessions at the plaza every weekend until the end of September. Funded by British Land, in their wider redevelopment plans for Canada Water.
