It’s my birthday and I’m celebrating with the people who make this all worth it. You. 🤍

Every year I wake up on my birthday and the first thing I feel is gratitude. For a healthy body. A healthy mind. A healthy relationship with myself. And honestly? So much of that comes down to this practice. Pilates has transformed me in ways I’m still discovering; my confidence, my strength, the way I carry myself, the way I talk to myself, the way I show up for my son. It gave me something I didn’t even know I was looking for, and I’ve never stopped coming back to it.

Members- it’s here!! A new category exclusively on the Pilates by Riya app🙌

Something I don’t see often enough in the Pilates world and honestly it’s something I feel really passionate about as an instructor is proper form and technique education. So I’m so excited to tell you that I’ve just added a brand new category to the Pilates by Riya app. This has been one of the most requested things from my members recently, and with all the noise around Pilates on social media right now, I felt like now was the time.

Starting today I’m drip feeding bite-size 101 tutorials: we’re talking how to properly engage your core, your pelvic floor connection, shoulder bridge, Pilates push-up and coming in the next few weeks, cat cow, all fours, the side-lying series and so much more.

These are videos you can come back to whenever you’re unsure about your form, or if you’re brand new to Pilates and want to know what good movement actually looks like before you dive in.

Our first Padel & Pilates event and I am still buzzing, I love building & creating for the app but in-person just hits different, there is nothing like that energy honestly. Such a fun day!

And a BIG moment for the men who tried Pilates for the first time today!! The stigma is so real but you guys just showed up and did it anyway, that means so much, thank you 🙌🏽

Today’s mama and baby Pilates class was all about lower body, pelvic floor & ended with some Pilates push ups! The mums did SO well!

But this lower body flow was spicy af. Lots of sick babies today & missed some mums buttt next week we have our final class which is going to be extra special, will share more next week. Good job today mums! ❤️
