Season 2023/24 has launched! 🚀

SEASON 23/24: LAUNCHED 🚀

We are delighted to announce that the new season of the London Foosball League has now launched!

The first round of matches begins Monday September 25. All details can be found on the brand new League pages here:

LONDON FOOSBALL LEAGUE IS BACK!

That's right, it is time for the new season of the London Foosball League!

After the success of last season, we are aiming high this time round. There are 14 clubs in London, and clubs are able to enter more than one team into the league, so we want as many existing and new players to take part as possible!

The exact format of the league is to be determined based on the number of teams that register, but it will follow a familiar league qualification and playoff format as last season. Registration is open until the end of August.

Like last season, the league will still be using a 'salary cap' system. Player ratings have been updated since the end of last season to reflect player ability changes - you can check yours here: https://britfoos.com/about/licences/

WHAT A WONDERFUL LEAGUE FINALS!

Last Saturday was finals day and with six teams participating it was a tournament filled with drama, excitement and the occasional bird noise.

Thank you to all who came to play on the day, and everyone who has participated over the course of the season. It has been really successful and we are already looking forward to next season!

Congratulations to Camden Table Football Club’s Camden Mandem team for winning the London Foosball League Season 2022/23! Camden defeated Holloway Confoosion in a close final, 8-6, to bring home the trophy 🏆

We had eight teams in total this season (City and Islington sadly could not make the final) and we are hoping to add more teams for next season as we look to expand the league and continue to help grow the game. This league is for everybody, regardless of playing level, and is a fantastic way to meet new players and have all the benefits from being in a team.

ROUND 8 RESULTS & LEAGUE TABLE UPDATE

Newcomers Highbury extended their unbeaten record in the league, carving out another hellish 7-7 draw, this time to former table-toppers Holloway Confoosion. Certainly a team to watch, it will be interesting to see how they cope with the absence of a key player in the next couple of rounds.

That draw along with Camden's 11-3 victory over the Metamax has extended the Mandem's lead to 2 points at the top. Despite a last-minute squad-strengthening addition to Islington's lineup, Camden ran out winners, albeit with many games going the distance and strong performances from both teams.

Shoreditch showed absolutely no mercy to our third newcomers City Mavericks, producing a 14-0 victory against the student team. We're all friends here bro :)

And finally, the ever-improving Hackney were unable to build on their win in the last round, succumbing to the highly-experienced Bundy's Angels/East London Ravens 11-3. Perhaps the Puppets are scared of their Master?
