You're going viral! ๐จ
Check out our TikTok tips and learn how.
Use trending sounds. TikTok strongly revolves around algorithms and knowing what's trending. Using those trending sounds, allows your content to fall perfectly into that algorithm and land on users' feeds. ๐ต
Encourage comments. Engagement is super important, so the more comments you receive and conversations you begin, the higher your noticeability and potential. ๐
Use fun transitions. As TikTok is solely video content, you need your posts to stand out and give your audience a reason to watch. Play around with creative transitions to keep your content exciting. ๐
Maximise hashtags. Similarly to trending sounds, using popular hashtags can help your content land on your target audience's feeds and introduce them to your profile. #๏ธโฃ
Keep it simple. The majority of videos are 10-30 seconds long meaning audiences are looking for quick, entertaining content that's easy to watch. Don't overcomplicate your videos or your audience will likely lose interest. ๐ด

Add a background picture - It will allow your audience to investigate more into your hotel at first glance. Here you can showcase your hotel or additional features, such as your restaurant. ๐คณ
Write a compelling summary - It's the factor that encourages visitors to engage, so you must present your best features and give your audience a reason to book. ๐
Create consistent content - It's super important your posts are frequent and engaging. Otherwise, your audience will lose interest and you won't be a top contender for their next booking. ๐๏ธ
Engage with other content - The more app users you're engaging with, the wider your audience can become. LinkedIn is great for broadening your reach, and showing your content to your connections and suggested audience. ๐

"The food was disgusting"
Food can be tricky to get right as every guest will have different preferences and expectations. But there are a few things you can do. ๐ฅ
Firstly, if you offer room service, consider how you're going to transport the food. A common complaint is that food is too cold once it arrives, so make sure once food is ready it's immediately brought up to a guest's room for them to enjoy. Remember to be careful when transporting food around the hotel. You don't want to drop plates or cutlery.
Secondly, if you have an onsite restaurant be sure your kitchen can cater to large numbers as you don't want to get overwhelmed if you receive lots of guests. Also be aware of dietary requirements and make sure you can cater to allergies too. You'll most likely receive a complaint if a guest can't eat anything on your menu. ๐โโ๏ธ

"Youโve given me additional charges that we weren't expecting"
Everyone understands holidays aren't cheap, but when you've set a budget and you're hit with unexpected fees it can be upsetting for guests. ๐ฐ
Sometimes hotels may need to charge additional fees, such as city tax. However, this should be clearly communicated on your website, before bookings, and any additional booking confirmation provided. If you've got an FAQ section on your website, you can also give a breakdown of your fees for additional information.
If a guest reaches your hotel and they're charged any unexpected fees regardless of the reasoning they won't be happy and will likely leave a complaint to warn future guests. If you do need to charge your guest more, make sure they're aware in advance so it doesn't come as a surprise. ๐ฎ

"My room is dirty"
Cleanliness is such an important aspect for guests, that when these expectations aren't met it can lead to many complaints. ๐งน
This type of complaint can easily be resolved with some attention to detail, and great cleaning staff. A few common places guests might find dirt are on the bedding, towels, furniture, and flooring. These are all easy things to clean! Promote attention to detail to your staff and how even at first glance if things look clean, they need proper cleaning in between guests.
In addition to good cleaning staff, you need to provide them with the correct equipment to help them. For example, if you want dirt cleaned from the floor make sure your hoovers are powerful enough for the job. Also, consider productivity and make sure staff have enough time to complete a full clean. ๐งผ
