It’s International Women’s Day! Oh wait… that was Sunday. Ops I missed it.

But then again, maybe celebrating women shouldn’t be limited to just one day a year. After all, we are half the population.

So today - and every day - I’m celebrating the incredible women I have the privilege of working with.

The women who lead with courage, empathy and integrity.
The women who lift others up while navigating their own challenges.
The women who change direction, pivot their careers, and pursue work that truly aligns with who they are.
The women who are redefining what leadership, success and ambition look like.
The women who step out of their comfort zone to do something that feels right.

I’m constantly inspired by the conversations we have, the resilience I see, and the impact these women are making in their organisations, their communities, and beyond.

To the women building careers on their own terms, supporting one another, and paving the way for those coming next. You make the working world better.

And whilst I know the stats on gender equality are not moving forward fast enough I know we all can celebrate women’s achievements, amplify voices, and create opportunities - not just on one day in March, but all year round.

Here’s to all the amazing women that I work with.

The half term sandwich 🥪

I took half term off work and is it just me of do you find your week before and after a holiday to be complete madness in workload? I didn’t manage to do any social media around that time but here’s what’s been going on for last few weeks:

1. Met with a load of new clients as they start a new career accelerator in the product manager and digital marketing
2. Worked with a client on a very exciting new business launch
3. Met some new maternity coaching clients all going on maternity leave in the next few months
4. Had a few extra tennis lessons to try and get better
5. Celebrated valentines day and Chinese New Year all at once in China Town with the family
6. Went on an amazing leadership course in order to coach more leaders and people wanting to grow their leadership skills
7. Went to Center Parcs!

How has the last few weeks been like for you? Is the entry of Spring helping you in getting motivated about your career?

Testimonial time! It’s always so lovely to get a hand written note from a client ❤️. This was just 3 sessions to boost confidence and support this client with a really robust job search strategy. If you are keen to find out how we did it and how career coaching could apply to you get in touch or book a discovery call via my link in bio.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great break.

The kids went back to school today, and I jumped straight back into coaching with a bang.

It may be -5 degrees in the UK, but this morning I travelled to Carnarvon in Western Australia, then on to Dubai, and finally back to a freezing UK.

What am I talking about?

These are the locations my coaching clients were in today.

I’m incredibly lucky to coach people all over the world (see my ever growing map!). It’s one of the best parts of my job, not only do I get to learn about who people are and where they want to go in their careers, but I also get a window into different cultures, perspectives, and ways of life.

So if there’s one thing I’m taking into 2026, it’s this:

I genuinely love what I do. Helping people navigate change, build confidence, and create careers that work for their lives (wherever they are in the world!) is something I never take for granted.

Here’s to another year of meaningful conversations, brave decisions, and careers that fit.

This morning I dropped my kids off at summer camp at a local secondary school. Outside, I noticed a group of 16 year olds waiting nervously to collect their GCSE results, and it took me right back to when I received mine. I’ll be honest, they weren’t great.

Looking back now, though, I can see that those grades didn’t define me, or where my life and career would go. And that’s what I want to share today:

1. You can still do brilliantly in life even if your results aren’t what you hoped for. Your future is built on so much more than exam marks.

2. You don’t have to have it all figured out. I work with people in their 30s, 40s, even 50s who are still figuring out what they want to do when they “grow up.” Careers aren’t linear, they twist, turn and surprise you.

3. Results are just one snapshot in time. What matters most is your willingness to learn, adapt and keep going.

So if today feels tough (or you know anyone going through it), take a breath. Your results are just the starting point, not the final word.

Ps I’m actually 26 in this photo not 16 but it’s the earliest I could find 🤣

Let’s talk personal branding.
Not the cringey, “look at me!” kind.
The real, purposeful, “this is who I am and what I stand for” kind.

As a career change coach, I work with a lot of people (especially us millennials!) who are craving more meaning in their work.

But if you’re shifting direction, people need to understand that new direction. That’s where personal branding comes in.
It’s not about creating some polished online persona.

It’s about getting clear on:
💭 What you care about
💪 What you bring to the table
🧭 Where you’re headed next

And then telling that story: in your LinkedIn, your CV, your interviews, your conversations.

Because if you don’t shape your story, someone else will.

So if you’re thinking about switching careers (or already mid-leap), ask yourself:
👉 Does my online presence reflect who I am now, not who I was 5 years ago?

Your brand is just you on purpose.

Pinch me moment.

Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to attend a celebration event at the - and even better, I got to meet some of the amazing people I’ve worked with in person!

It’s genuinely such a privilege to work with the incredible career accelerator students at top universities like LSE as part of my role as a career coach at FourthRev.

These aren’t your typical students - many are transitioning into exciting new careers in tech, all while juggling full time work and intensive study. Then, on top of that, they partner with me to prepare for a whole new chapter in their professional life.

That level of commitment and drive is nothing short of amazing. It really is a joy to play a small part in helping them make that leap.
