▪️FLEXIBILITY in fitness usually refers to something physical but in times like these we need to practice mental flexibility and learn how to ADAPT. Many will have been working on fitness goals that have come to a skidding halt during lockdown and you aren’t alone if that’s left you feeling demotivated and let’s be honest a bit fed up! At times like this we need to be flexible, be realistic, revise those fitness goals for example if your goal was to run the London Marathon try using your time to work on strength and mobility exercises so that when you can get out and get the miles under your belt your body will be strong and your joints more capable. Be kind to yourself and don’t set unrealistic goals, find something that you enjoy and that makes you feel good and use that lift it gives you to motivate yourself ▫️
