Yoga in the park + social picnic 🧘🏽🧺

👭We weren’t meant to live disconnected from nature or from each other.

There’s something so healing about doing yoga in the park — hearing the birds, feeling the breeze, sitting in stillness and simply slowing down for a moment. 🌿

🇬🇧 Living in a busy city like London can feel lonely sometimes, even when surrounded by so many people. Real connection and genuine friendships can be hard to find.

That’s why I created Yoga in the Park & Picnic Social ❤️
A space to move mindfully, connect, meet new people, and just feel connected to community again.

What did you first come to yoga for… and what made you stay? 🧘🏽

For me, yoga became so much more than movement. Somewhere between the stretching, the breath awareness and the quiet moments… something shifted 🤍

🇮🇳 When I was studying yoga in India years back, we would never jump from pose to pose, moving fast through different kinds of asanas and seeing how many asanas we can practice within an hour of class.

We would take time to really focus on alignment, on how a particular asana is done. We would break things down.

How are the legs working?
What are the hands doing?
Which part is overworking?
Which part is underworking?
How is the breath moving?
How is the body responding in the pose?

We would really try to absorb and meditate in the asana itself, becoming deeply aware of what was happening within the body and mind.

Yoga is not about how many poses you do within an hour of class, or how far you can move into a pose. It is more about how beautifully, how consciously, and how much understanding do you develop in an asana — and I feel that is something we are slowly losing in today’s day and age.

That is why I bring to you these 2-hour yoga workshops, where we can spend enough time to really focus, understand and truly learn things deeply, so that it can help elevate not only your practice, but your life, to another level.
