N.B. Same rules as last year, except for two changes.
- This year, athletes promoted from Div 2 will be £10,000 cheaper than a Div 1 athlete with an equivalent average finish position.
- To reflect the rising cost of a pint and the growing demand for prize money to be spent on drinks for the team, betting has increased from £5 to £10 per team entered.
As the season progresses Fanta.XC results will be shared on Facebook, Instagram, and email.

N.B. Same rules as past years with just two exceptions. This year the Saudi sportswashing has expanded into the honorable sport of cross country running. They are pouring more cash into the sport than ever before and have lobbied for a more inclusive scoring system. The two rules changes are:
- You'll now have £1,200,000 to spend on athletes, a 20% raise on last year
- The cut-off on athlete score is now 150, not 100
The two changes should make for a more competitive Fanta.XC Surrey League with more athletes scoring and more athletes adding value to the team.
As the season progresses Fanta.XC results will be shared on Facebook, Instagram, and email.

🥇Daniel Shaw - Goliath AC team - 533
🥈Maddy Austin - Sanderson's Not Worth It team - 602
🥉Dan Pettitt - Dunch of Kents team - 632
As a benchmark, a Team of Team Managers was made including all 24 people who submitted a team (21 men, 3 women). The thinking being that if you're submitting a team you're likely going to have selected yourself and will be racing all 4 league races.
The Team of Team Managers team came 5th and had the lowest scoring Men's team with 286, of course, it lost a lot of points from only having 3 women when 5 are required to score.
Daniel Shaw 162 and Steph Hewitt just behind with 163 had the lowest-scoring women's team of 5
Notably this year there were a lot of new athletes performing well. Finishing in the top ten, hence good value for their £75k price were: Ian Crowe-Wright (2C), Sebastian Anthony (2C), Gary Laybourne, Henry Hart, James Hancock, Katie Snowden, and Katie Bingle (2C).
There were four athletes picked in ≥10 teams: Finn Johnson, Lizzie Goldie-Scot, Steve Gardner, Stephanie Hewitt. Unfortunately for most, only one of these four raced yesterday.
