Refereeing over 5 days at is not just a test of my hamstrings while talented young athletes compete in the world’s largest rugby tournament. It’s also a test of decision making, communication, empathy and self-awareness, all needed to balance game and player management while applying rugby laws to the best of our abilities. It’s challenging, rewarding and always a privilege to be part of such an amazing tournament.
