MASSAGE IS NOT SEXUAL.

Why you gotta make it weird? 😂

Okay, serious bit…

Lately I’ve been questioning whether I actually want to continue offering massage.

Not because I don’t love helping people. I do.

But because apparently somewhere between “I offer massage” and “I am a professional massage therapist”, some people hear:

“Ah yes… this is my opportunity to test the boundaries.” 🤦‍♀️😂

I’ve had messages asking about prostate massage, “extras” and happy endings.

I’ve also had a male client completely undress in front of me without any prior discussion, and then offer me additional payment at the beginning of the appointment.

And honestly?

It isn’t funny when you’re the person on the receiving end.

Massage is an intimate treatment, but it is not a sexual service.

I shouldn’t have to wonder whether someone has booked because they genuinely want help with pain, tension, recovery or relaxation — or because they’ve made assumptions about what happens behind a closed treatment-room door.

So yes…

Why you gotta make it weird? 😂

I’m a massage therapist.

I have oils, towels and a treatment plan.

Not a secret menu.

Professional boundaries matter.
Respect the therapist.
Respect the treatment.

Back from a month of hiking and exploring, Chris came in today with tired, aching legs after covering countless miles.

30 minutes focused on recovery, mobility and releasing built-up tension.

A few hours later I received this message…

“The pain has gone from them.” ❤️
