Expedition + storm Ciara = still an expedition. It was an exiciting and humbling experience. We ended up doing no urbex at all and obtained the owner's permission for not doing any urbex. This is a ranom video off the internet. What a beautiful spot. We should go there one day. More stock photos in our HQ group https://www.facebook.com/groups/526457864842912/

As always, our expedition was awesome. We've learned a new firemaking method, watched the birds, had a delicous curry by the campfire. Also, sneaky fishermen are apparently from England, Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Slovakia (not CZE?!) and Bulgaria, which is weirdly specific.
We‘re currently planning an expedition for the weekend after the next, as well as something for the reading week.
Among other news, the Central Committee of the Health&Safety party of the Student Union has decided to not affiliate us, which surprised no one. Reason? We haven't sufficiently explained how are we different from Duke of Edinburg Award, a society that "helps you develop skills for life and work." No hard feelings, I guess we should start with some volunteering now to make sure we get that Silver award by the end of this five-year plan. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Karlson‘s memory was celebrated with dignity.
We met a lone hiker in the middle of nowhere at 3am and danced in a massive abandoned cowshed with Antanas playing the jaw harp. So just another day in an Expeditionist's life.
Merry Christmas and see you next term!

Sleeping in a castle ruin? By the sea? In a shelter by a waterfall? We had it all last week, along with beaches, snow, lakes, mountains, abandoned manors and cathedrals.
We definitely aren't going to sleep over at Regent's park next week, so if you're against that, join our group or send us a message;)

Our last expedition was even better than the last one! There's just one awkward picture for you, if you want to see what we are doing, you'll have to come for our expeditions. We're planning Wales in the reading week, some *secret* Regent's park sleepover, night march, international weekend trip and much more!
Most of the activities and information are being transferred to our group - join us. This page is just too much pain to maintain.

We had a great time on our first expedition! It was raining all day and night, so we got our tents together, put a tarp over them and had a comfy evening. There is definitely something happening in two weeks, so don't miss that one!

Still wondering whether this society is for you?
What about an Expedition society that gets the only sunny day in a rainy week for its events?
Come for our Primrose hill social tonight to learn about our vision and meet some great people.
