We completed the first day of the second phase of the Legacy Program - Master I, the journey designed by and presented by our amazing BASI Principal Faculties Maria Sylla and Illaria Pulidori with further attention to teaching, cueing, and progression.❤

Master I explores the master-level repertoire that has seldom been part of any formal comprehensive teacher-training program, which includes 18 hours of instruction & learning.

It was a fabulous learning experience with lovely and eager students joining us from all over the world🌟

에밀리는 20년 넘게 영국을 비롯하여 여러 국가에서 기구 필라테스와 매트 필라테스를 가르쳐왔습니다. 그녀는 1990년 Royal Ballet에 입단했을때 처음 필라테스를 접했습니다. 수년에 거쳐 생긴 부상으로 인해 나이 40세가 되었을 땐 의사들은 더이상 걸을 수 없을 거라고 했지만 Alan Herman Pilates를 2000년도부터 시작하며 몸이 많이 좋아졌습니다.

에밀리는 2004년에 BASI 인증 강사가 되어 현재는 BASI Faculty와 Examiner로 일을 하고 있습니다. 다양한 파트너들과 함께 협력하며 지금 현재는 파리, 이스탄불, 더블린, 암스테르담, 두바이, 런던에서 강의를 하기 위해 전 세계를 순회하며 필라테스를 가르치는 열정을 잃지 않습니다.

에밀리는 필라테스가 나이나 능력에 상관없이 모든 사람을 위한 것이라고 강하게 믿습니다. 부상, 산전/산후, 호르몬 변화, 감정적 어려움을 겪는 회원들을 오랜 시간동안 가르쳐온 에밀리는 Body Conditioning의 노하우를 매우 잘 알고 있습니다. 또 그녀는 꾸준한 자기개발과 공부를 통해 자신의 가르침을 알리고 향상시키기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.

특히 그녀는 멘토로서 필라테스 교육생들과 함께 그들의 여정을 서포트 해주면서 그들이 꾸준히 공부할 수 있게 지원해줍니다. 사람을 편안하게 해주는 좋은 성품을 가지고 있지만 멘토로선 예리한 눈으로 움직임 패턴을 평가하고 자세 정렬을 교정하고 개인의 몸에 따라 움직임의 효율성을 기를 수 있도록 도와주는 훌륭한 지도자입니다.

에밀리가 필라테스로 바쁘지 않을 때, 그녀는 그녀의 남편, 두 아들, 그리고 반려견인 프렌치 불독과 함께 시간을 보내는 것을 좋아합니다.

에밀리는 바시필라테스의 가장 뛰어난 패컬티이자 강사 중 한 명입니다 :) 정말 오랜 기간 동안 한국에 초청하려 했으나 여러 사정으로 인해 만날 수 없었습니다. 드디어 한국에 방문해서 여러분들과 만날 수 있게 되었습니다🙌🏻 아마 에밀리를 만나는 선생님들은 바로 에밀리의 매력에 빠져들고 말 것 입니다! 2023년 2월에 에밀리와 함께 뜨거운 겨울을 만나 보아요:)♥️

As this year starts to come to a close, I just want to have a shout out to all my wonderful clients. These two amazing ladies are an example of many I have taught and love over the years. has stuck with me for over 20 years and has trusted me in her recovery from a horrific accident. This picture makes me feel so happy. There’s been so much shared through the rollercoaster of life - happy and sad times but a lot of laughter and love and that’s ultimately what makes everything all good l! Thank you to you all and Happy Christmas ❤️❤️❤️
