Enuff Skateboards Official The official Facebook account for Enuff Skateboards. Enuff is an all-British brand, established in January 2006 by a collaboration of two skateboarding experts.

Together they had a vision to create a top level UK brand that was fun and affordable without compromising quality. Above all of this, the most important key to Enuff was supporting the UK scene and helping to bring young, unknown skaters to the forefront of the UK talent. The likes of Sam Bosworth, Pete Adams and Alex Halford have all been part of the Enuff team and a true testament to our reasoning of supporting young UK skaters! Jacob Bettinson

How do you kickturn?

We’d like to say a big thank you to for letting us film in their super nice park and Geoff from .are.rubicon for his time and expertise.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

Place your back foot on the tail and your front foot over the front set of bolts.

Roll up the ramp, not too high to begin with, then put some weight on the tail so the front wheels lift slightly off the ramp. While doing this swing your full body - shoulders, legs and head, to make sure you face the way you want to go, then as the skateboard comes round you want to push the front wheels back down, lean forward a little and roll back down the ramp.

There are two different types of kickturn - frontside and backside.

Frontside kickturns are considered a little bit harder and involve you looking over your shoulder and turning behind you.

Backside kickturns are a little bit easier, as you can see where you are going and are easier to balance, they involve turning in front of you. Start with the backside kickturn, but it is important you learn both.

How to pump?

We’d like to say a big thank you to for letting us film in their super nice park and Geoff from .are.rubicon for his time and expertise.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

Like most skateboarding, it starts with a good foot position. Place your back foot on the tail and your front foot over the front set of bolts.

The concept is as you go up the ramp you want to make yourself as light as possible, so you go higher. You do that by standing up.

On the way down you want to do the opposite, crouch down and press your weight into the board as you come down into the flat bottom.

One great goal to work towards, is to start at the bottom of the ramp with a couple pushes, then start the pumping motion. You should be able to gradually get higher and higher on the ramp with no further pushes required.

Something to keep in mind is that the lighter you are, the less body weight you have to help gain momentum, which can make pumping more challenging and less effective.

The good thing about pumping is that it is a great technique to introduce you to ramp skating. You’ll learn to go up the ramp quite high, you’ll learn to ride backwards in fakie, and that means you’ll build your confidence to try to drop in or rock to fakie.

.are.rubicon is the UK’s largest and leading skate school, teaching skateboarding to over 50,000 students a year all over the UK.

We caught up with them to see how our skateboards are used in the real world and to see the amazing work they are doing with the next generation of skaters.
