Chronos, Fresh Wharf London

The new 3D art Installation Chronos by artist George Henry Longly, at Fresh Wharf London.
This was a challenging project turned into reality by a great team: 3R Restoration Ltd and STG Fabrications. Harrison Goldman were delighted to be involved with this project and designed the complex secondary steel frame and framing fixing system used.
The installation used three types of Marble: Nero Marquina, Pietra Grey and Carrara.

Chiltern Court Baker Street completed in 1929 is a grand building which has had some notable figures as residents and in WWll some flats were used by the Special Operations Executive!
Harrison Goldman carried out a condition survey of the Natural Stone Facade to this historic building. The clients received a full written report with annotated drawings and photographs.
We were employed as Stone Consultant and reviewed and signed off all repair work carried out.

Attended a most enjoyable event, Ateliers De France hosted by at their London office. It was an opportunity to meet and talk with artisans, working for companies producing excellent products with plaster, wood, and metal. Some of these companies have extensive historic catalogues, which they can reference to produce any product today for historic restoration work. Company products were on display, as well as the opportunity to 'have-a-go' crafting your own piece! This made you appreciate the skill involved to create bespoke products. A nice occasion to celebrate skilled craftsmanship with delicious French food, wine and company. Thank you to everyone involved.
