As much as I would welcome Guler, I think Chelsea have the RW position pretty much covered. Palmer, Estevao, Quenda will give more than enough cover on the right. I think Chelsea need to ask for Tchouaméni in any swap deal for Enzo because we are desperate to add Height in the middle.

Height is currently a massive priority for Alonso and he is looking at options for the squad. Adding some bigger players will definitely give us some much needed physicality.

I would add Osimhen upfront, Tchouameni in midfield and Lacroix and Diomonde at the back with Colwill and we will have a much bigger stronger balance.

Where would this stadium rank with the rest in the league ?

If Chelsea brought in five first team signings to strengthen the squad and replace outgoing players, this is what the squad could look like. That is with the deadwood cleared out too.

Then Add a few extra players like Grimaldo, Senesi.

I have to congratulate Arsenal on winning the league. It is hard to argue they did not deserve it in the end because too many clubs were clearly underperforming.

But one thing I will never praise is the way Arsenal won it.

Arsenal did almost everything against the traditions and core values people usually associate with football. Becoming masters of the dark arts and setting up primarily not to lose made them very boring to watch. Using four centre backs and two holding midfielders, then relying heavily on height and set pieces, was really underwhelming.

Arsenal also benefited from a huge number of own goals in key moments, something that felt unusual across a title winning campaign. On top of that, VAR decisions went their way on several occasions, which only added to the frustration of rival fans.

The biggest factor in Arsenal’s title win, in my opinion, was time wasting. So much time disappeared after set pieces, with players constantly going down and stopping momentum. Statistics showed that once Arsenal took the lead, or whenever momentum shifted, a different player would often go down injured. Reports also suggested Arsenal added an average of around 14 extra seconds to free kicks while leading, creating frustration and drawing unnecessary yellow cards for opposition teams.

Arsenal also set a record this season against Brighton, recording 30 minutes and 51 seconds of restart delays, the most by a single team in Premier League history. That match ended with the ball actually being in play for only 46 minutes.

This style of winning a title will probably never happen again and arguably should never have been possible. Time wasting has become such a major issue that it will likely be addressed next season.

Fans are clearly being cheated out of seeing 90 minutes of football. New rule changes are being discussed to make teams think twice about wasting time. Proposals include forcing the player responsible for a foul to leave the pitch temporarily, reducing delays at throw ins, by making the closest player to the ball take it and making changes to include throw ins to the offside rule are being interpreted. These ideas are clearly aimed at reducing bad gamesmanship.

Retaining a title is a much bigger challenge than winning one. This style of football is difficult to sustain and may only have worked because the teams around Arsenal massively underperformed many teams struggled to deal with long throws and set piece pressure. But next season teams will adjust, defend better, and learn to combat the threat next season.

Call me salty if you like, but deep down Arsenal fans all know this title was helped massively by VAR decisions and players time wasting.

SEASON REVIEW!!!!

Honestly, this has been the worst season I have ever experienced as a Chelsea fan.

From top to bottom this club needs gutting. I cannot stress enough how much I hate the current transfer model. The ownership have ripped the heart and soul out of this club.

I have supported Chelsea for over 40 years and I cannot explain how disgusted I am with the quality and attitude shown by this squad.

We are in desperate need of a major rebuild this summer and I think 90% of this current squad will be lucky to still be here next season.

I would clear out the backroom staff who have accepted this level as normal. Too many players have failed to step up on too many occasions. Keeping Calum McFarlane involved with the first team after the last few games sends the wrong message moving forward.

You cannot have inexperienced coaches working with top professional players at a club like Chelsea. Calum should never have been put in charge in the first place. He has not even completed all of his coaching badges yet and this ownership thought it was a good idea to hand him a group of half committed millionaires.

Send him back to the U18 setup or move him on because he has not done enough to justify staying with the first team.

When Alonso starts on 1 July he needs to sit down, watch every poor performance from this season and identify the players who have repeatedly let this club down. Then move them on.

PLAYER REVIEW

Sanchez 6/10Made some big saves this season and reduced the number of mistakes while playing out from the back. Distribution was poor at times but overall his shot stopping kept him among the better goalkeepers statistically. I would not mind him staying but he has to accept competition. If not, it might be time to move him on.

Jorgensen 3/10Apart from about 75 minutes against PSG he has been poor. Bad decisions all season and nowhere near the level required. Needs to be sold.

James 6/10So important to this team but his inability to stay fit makes building around him difficult. Nobody questions his quality but your captain cannot keep missing games. It may be time for a new leader.

Gusto 4/10A major disappointment. I have watched him go backwards more than forwards. Lack of consistency is a problem. I would bring in another right back and make him compete.

Chalobah 6/10Played well under Maresca but struggled to maintain it. A good squad player who clearly loves Chelsea but we need more quality if we want to compete.

Tosin 3/10Struggled all season and was at fault in too many defeats. One of the first players I would move on.

Fofana 2/10At this point I think his time is up. Too many injuries and not enough consistency to judge him properly. Chelsea need reliability and leadership at centre back.

Acheampong 5/10Did not play enough but that was probably the right decision. A loan could help but I would not mind keeping him.

Colwill 6/10Massively missed. Hopefully he gets a proper break and comes back ready to lead next season.

Sarr 4/10Brought in as cover but barely played. Needs a Premier League loan.

Hato 6/10Looked much better in a back three and was one of the few positives. Unfortunately it came too late.

Cucurella 5/10Very mixed season. Some strong performances but some poor ones too. He needs proper rotation next year because three straight summers without rest is unsustainable.

Lavia 2/10Too many injuries and not enough impact. I am tired of hearing about potential when he is never available.

Santos 5/10Not terrible but not outstanding either. Could be sacrificed if it helps strengthen elsewhere.

Essugo 3/10Hard to judge due to injuries and lack of minutes. Loan move feels sensible.

Caicedo 5/10Not his best season. He has been left exposed too often. Alonso needs to give him support and let him focus on winning the ball higher up the pitch.

Enzo 6/10Good numbers and important goals but inconsistent performances. Alonso's biggest challenge might be finding the balance that gets the best out of him.

Neto 3/10Started well but creativity dropped off badly. Too many wasted opportunities and poor decisions in attack.

Palmer 5/10Disappointing by his standards. He needs movement around him and a system built to maximise his strengths.

Estevao 7/10A breath of fresh air. Excellent first season and exciting to think what comes next.

Garnacho 2/10Terrible signing. No end product and not at the level required.

Derry 6/10Got opportunities and looked promising. A loan could be perfect.

Gittens 2/10Never looked ready. If an offer comes in I would seriously consider it.

Guiu 3/10Probably time to move on. Does not look ready for this level.

Delap 1/10One of the poorest strikers I have watched at Chelsea in years. Aggression alone is not enough.

Pedro 8/10 PLAYER OF THE SEASONA joy to watch. Gave fans hope and looked like a genuinely smart signing. Hopefully he stays.

This is the Squad that i would like to see next season.. Alonso is already discussing player improvements. The most important thing for me is getting rid of the players not good enough for this club and moving on players that continue to spend large parts of the season out of form E.g Delap,Gittens,Garnacho,Tosan,Badiashile,Jorgensen,Lavia,Fofana etc..These players have all been terrible at times this season and i don't want them here next season.

Absolutely devastated. After such a terrible season, I really hoped we would win something. I thought we defended really well today we have missed Colwill so much City just had more quality in the attacking areas. Going into a final with only two fit attackers against a squad full of attacking talent was always going to make things difficult.

At the same time, with zero shots on target, how are we ever supposed to win a final? We gave City far too much respect today and never really looked like we believed we could hurt them.

Today has to be the minimum energy level from the players moving forward we cannot win trophies bringing on players like Delap and Garnacho our options on the bench was diabolical.

From top to bottom, the owners have failed the fans this season. Massive changes need to happen across the whole club and in almost every department.

This is now the biggest summer the club history. We need a top class manager, we need to move on at least 10 or 12 players who should never have been signed, and we need real quality brought into the first team squad if we want to compete again. Missing out on Europe is unacceptable for a club like Chelsea it will only make attracting those players even harder.

I hate what has happened to our club. Every defeat feels worse than the last and losing another Wembley final is unacceptable. It genuinely makes me feel sick seeing what this club has be reduced to .
