Millwall Stars Cricket Club proudly marked the successful completion of our 8-session All Stars Cricket training programme, introducing 8 young stars to the basics of the game through practical training, fun drills, and exciting game sessions.

It was wonderful to see the kids learn, play, build confidence, and enjoy cricket together — while their parents cheered them on and had just as much fun watching from the sidelines! 🙌👏

A special mention to the match-winning all-round performance that stole the show — a fighting 30-odd runs under immense pressure, including a crucial 20-run last-wicket partnership, followed by a brilliant 4-wicket haul to set up the victory.

The innings got off to the perfect start with an aggressive top-order 🔥 approach that immediately shifted momentum and put the opposition under pressure. The opening stand laid a solid platform and ensured the chase/build remained in control from the outset.

With the ball⚾, one of the standout spells of the season brought discipline, pace, and control despite not getting rewarded with wickets. A game-changing breakthrough came through a beautifully flighted delivery that removed the opposition’s key batter at a crucial stage. Tight and impactful middle-order spells kept the pressure on, supported by a stunning catch that turned the momentum further in 1XI’s favour.
