Desi Beats with Our Amazing Women Carers
Today it was absolutely wonderful to see so many of our incredible women carers come together for a truly uplifting Desi Beats session.
Led by the amazing, , Founder & Chief Executive of , the session was full of energy, joy and connection. Desi Beats is a beautiful concept developed by creating a safe, welcoming space where women can dance freely, without judgement. It’s all about belonging, reducing isolation and bringing people together through the power of movement and music.
For our carers especially, sessions like this are so valuable for boosting memory, lifting mood, encouraging laughter and most importantly, giving space to simply have fun. And it was fantastic to see women of all ages taking part!
A huge thank you to all our carers who joined us, and a very special thank you to for delivering the Desi Beats sessions for One Vision. We truly value these collaborations and the positive impact they bring to our community.
A big shoutout as well to Sadia for helping make this happen. #
We’ve got more sessions coming up soon… so keep an eye out! 👀✨

This moment meant a lot to us. It’s just the beginning of a journey, and in the coming days we’ll be visiting different places to raise awareness about the campaign and the steps ahead.

It was a real pleasure today to welcome Nicola Wilder from Hertfordshire County Council to speak with One Vision Care for Carers Programme about young carers.
The session was both informative and educational for our carers. What stood out most was how many people in the room either were young carers themselves or are currently part of households with young carers — without even realising that dedicated support services are available to them.
Moments like these highlight just how vital spaces like ours are. Through conversations and collaboration, organisations like One Vision help bridge the gap between statutory bodies and the people who need their services most. Hearing people’s lived experiences, reflections, and questions made the session especially powerful.
We’re really pleased to have been able to collaborate with Nicola and look forward to hosting more sessions like this and continuing to engage directly with our communities.
As we always say — education is empowerment, and that is exactly what we set out to do.

Empowering Young People Through Volunteering 2025 | Duke of Edinburgh awards!
We’re proud to reflect on the impact of our Duke of Edinburgh Volunteers 2025 programme, supporting young people across Bronze and Silver DofE levels.
Through the commitment of 8 dedicated young volunteers, over 150 hours of meaningful volunteering were contributed creating real community impact while supporting personal growth and development.
At One Vision, we believe that engaging young volunteers early is essential to building stronger communities and future leaders. When young people are given responsibility and purpose, volunteering becomes a powerful platform for confidence-building, leadership development, and civic participation.
This programme enabled young people to gain:
✔️ Real-world, charity-focused experience
✔️ Engagement with statutory stakeholders
✔️ Opportunities to connect with professionals and community leaders
✔️ Transferable skills that support long-term personal and professional development
The impact goes beyond numbers. It’s about empowering young people with the tools, confidence, and mindset to actively contribute to society, now and in the future.
A huge thank you to our young volunteers for their commitment, energy, and dedication.

OneVision Care for carers Programme weekly session was a truly meaningful and successful day, focused on health, learning, and connection.
It was fantastic to welcome the GPs from Surgery, who provided valuable information on cervical cancer awareness and gave carers the opportunity to ask questions and book appointments directly. With 40+ carers attending, the level of engagement was inspiring.
We are especially thankful to who has recently been coming to the group and is an active member of teh community, kindly shared home-cooked food with everyone .. a thoughtful gesture that added warmth and a real sense of community to the day.
It was a pleasure to see carers mingling, asking questions, learning, and connecting, creating a supportive environment where wellbeing truly came first.
Thank you to everyone involved in making this event such a success. 💙
This is what the OneVision Care for Carers Programme is all about — supporting carers through awareness, access, and community.
