* Toy of the Week *

This week we are exploring shapes and colours!

Toys with shapes and colours are vital for early childhood development. They build cognitive, motor, and language skills by encouraging children to categorize, reason, and solve problems.

All these toys are available to hire for two weeks at a time as a member of Charlton Toy Library.

We are incredibly grateful for their continued support, having supported our charity since 2023. Contributions like this help us continue providing toys, books, equipment and support to local children and families across Greenwich.

Today we closed a bit earlier, as we took part in the Greenwich and Bexley Volunteer fair at the Nest in Thamesmead.

How you can help:

We are currently looking for a volunteer to run our rhyme-time session on Tuesdays (10:30-11:00 am) using our lovely sensory toys.

This week we are playing with these fantastic big wooden puzzles that the children love!

Puzzles enhance problem-solving skills, as toddlers try to figure out how pieces fit together. They improve spatial awareness and eye-hand coordination.

Happy 1st June!

We are open again this week with our normal schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (9:30-12:30), with a singing session at 10:30 a.m.

Tomorrow 2nd June we will be closing at 11 a.m. as we are taking part in the Volunteering Fair in Thamesmead in the afternoon.

This month our Saturday session will take place on 13th June (9:30-12:30).

On Tuesday 2nd June we will close at 11 a.m. due to taking part in a local event. On Thursday 4th and Friday 5th June we will be open during normal hours (9:30-12:30).
