Melody Bear - Little Bear Feet

These sessions are the perfect introduction to dance and movement for little girls and boys and their parent / carer from 18months - 3 years old.

The joys of dancing and singing are shared by teacher, parent/carer and toddler as together they join Melody Bear in her journey to Nursery Rhyme Land. Delightful interpretations of traditional, familiar nursery rhymes, together with new music and songs, inspire children's natural zest for dance, movement and self expression.

The use of props, mime, songs and rhymes enrich and charm the budding dancers as they take their first steps into the magical world of Melody Bear.

NEW STUDIOS - WE HAVE MOVED!

Follow the balloons to find us! 🎈

For those of you that don’t know, tomorrow we are opening at our new studios! We are now based at Suite A North, Gainsborough Studios, 1 Poole Street N1 5EB.

We are finally in and are so excited to welcome you all to the new home of City Dance Academy. More details and photos to follow soon, but for now here’s some info on how to find us.

The entrance to Gainsborough Studios is opposite Shoreditch Park. As you walk through the gates you need to take a right and walk all the way around the Podium building in the centre, it’s the one with the giant Alfred Hitchcock head on top of it. You then need to follow the path around the Podium building, head to the left and you should spot our balloons 🤗. That’s the entrance to the our unit.

It’s a little trickier to find us at the moment due to the scaffolding everywhere, but once you walk under the balloons you’re in the right spot.

A huge thank you to for our lovely pastel balloons they created for us today! We love them! 😊😘

🌟OUR NEXT CHALLENGE - THE TEACH YOUR DAD TO DANCE CHALLENGE!🌟

Now we know not everyone’s Dad may be around, so you’re welcome to do this with a Brother, Uncle, Grandad or even your Mum, Sister or Auntie if none of the above are with you. So whoever you’re staying with.....

Either teach them a routine from one you’ve learnt from a class this term in your online sessions, or an old favorite routine you might have done at the studio, an exam dance or even your own choreography! It doesn’t have to be long. 2 to 4 8’s and they’re welcome to improv at the end if they fancy it! 😉
