Dear Yoga West community,
We're sorry to inform you that Yoga West will close on Sunday July 9 after 11 and a half years. We're very proud of all the people who have been through our doors, all the people who have built a yoga practice and those who became teachers. We couldn't be more honoured to have worked with the teaching and studio team here.
We've managed to re-build the studio after covid and re-built a thriving studio. Sadly, our landlord is terminating our lease. We've re-built classes and numbers since covid but not our finances, which were decimated. To continue we would need to lease and re-fit another property and are nowhere near able to do this. We therefore have no option but to close the studio.
We will support our teachers to try and build their own classes with members of the studio and hope this will give you continuity of practice. In the meantime, please practice as much as you can over the next 2 weeks. No further membership payments will come out after 9 July and all membership payments before then have been reduced to reflect the number of days between the payment and our closure.
Thank you for practicing with us. You have touched our lives and we hope in some way, that we have touched yours.
