It’s been a busy week!
2 days of teaching bushcraft at a school for Big School Camp, then straight on to the Bushcraft Show for more camping, this time with my family for 4 days.
Brilliant all round. Not many photos as my phone stayed well out of the way…who needs it when you’re in nature having fun?!
Back home last night, and an early start this morning with my online Glutes & Core class, followed by PT on Wimbledon Common, then teaching Stretch & Restore on Zoom.
I was going to get everything unpacked this afternoon…but it’s just too hot!
How was your Bank Hol Weekend?

Guided another corporate group around the Surrey 3 Peaks this weekend with
The 35km route takes in Surrey’s 3 best known high points: Box Hill, Leith Hill and Holmbury Hill. There’s a brilliant mix of woodland trails, heathland and hills, plus a couple of country pubs to pop into!
Don’t underestimate it though. It’s a big day out, and nothing in the Surrey Hills is truly flat…even the “flat” bits aren’t flat!
Highly recommend it if you’re looking for an endurance challenge close to London, or you’re training for something bigger like the National 3 Peaks.

Love my job! This weekend I was with an awesome guiding team from and supporting this year’s MV Kelly company challenge on the Isle of Wight.
70 miles over 2 days along the stunning Isle of Wight Coastal Path.
The group absolutely smashed it, finishing with a mix of tired legs, blisters, laughs and true grit. Together they raised over £300,000 for charity!
The walk itself is stunning, and I’d recommend doing it. Just maybe give yourself more than 48 hours, so that you’re not powerwalking past all the views 😂
It was also really interesting to see just how much coastal erosion is shaping the island, with sections of cliff slowly disappearing back into the sea. It really hits home how fragile our coastline is.
(In case you’re wondering, the last photo is of George, the one-eyed dog at our hotel. Completely unrelated to the challenge, but too cute not to include 🥰).

This weather is definitely made for getting out and finding somewhere different to explore!
We stopped off at in Leatherhead over the weekend. I kept seeing the sign for it, and have been meaning to go for months.
It’s a hidden gem! From gigantic metal sculptures to delicate jewellery, plus metalwork demonstrations and workshops, and a lovely little trail through the sculpture garden. A huge amount of history too, dating back to Roman times!
It’s not far off the A3, so a great little place to pop into. Especially if you have arty/crafty teenagers, like mine.
Just wish I’d taken more photos!

Getting outside and exploring places like St Martha’s Hill is genuinely really beneficial for both your mental and physical health.
And this is backed by a huge amount of research.
It’s not just “feel-good” insta advice!
