Your lovely words mean a HUGE amount to us both as does everyone who played their part.
So happy to have played a role in preparing some of you for the big wide world, Bullswood also taught us many valuable lessons, and of course we found each other there :))

I’ve had many moments lately feeling like I’d like to push a rewind button to days long gone. The busy 100 player days, loading the van, arriving down at the site a kettle would be boiling thanks to the ever wonderful Chris Millington, they’d likely be a few hangovers lingering, lots of chatter, and then getting games underway - few hours later the legend Sue (best cook & gossip ever + best Collie dogs) would shout LUNCH sausage, burger, beans, mash and a bread roll a can of drink + chocolate bar happy days!
Always on hand with a story (often one we’d heard!) would be site legend Dave Para a man Dan & I will respect always, he had the strength and energy of people half his age.. Although he could sometimes be a little bit shouty! Love you Dave...you often said 'Proper preparation prevents p**s poor performance’ oh so true.
Great years :)

We’ll keep this Bullswood page open always here for memories and contacts, & lovely words that will cheer us always, as we move forward to a new start.

I know we will def see some of you again , always remember you are unique and were part of the best site ever Bullswood. Be happy, hopeful and always be kind.

Thank you for all your support over the years.

As some of you are likely to know by now Dan and I have let go of Bullswood, we`re moving on to new adventures. We`d like to thank Kit Peters (founder) without who we would never have had such a beautiful woodland and also our wonderful landlord who we continue to support. Also our dear departed friend Lawrence who we will never forget whose spirit will remain always in the woodland.

Running Skirmish Bullswood has been fantastic, we have such awesome memories that we will never forget - we learnt valuable lessons and made lifetime friendships. For me giving up on site has been very hard - will always continue to visit there - my wonderful dad once told me - no progress without change - this was a difficult one but needed to be done.
The site has been taken on by the team at Velocity Paintball, they are hardworking and positive and love the woods, they will inject some fresh structures (not quite as rustic) and energy into the site, we`re confident they will offer new beginnings after what has been a tough few years for us.

Dan continues to work with his new business and I`ll be by his side supporting - we are always stronger together! Note: he also now has a side line in vintage bikes, see him in action on youtube - Vintage Velos - I can be contacted by and marshals who need a reference or just a chat at [email protected]

Not in the photo but who also supported us are Lucy (Sister and book-keeper, always on hand for wise words), Simon Giles and his lovely son Ed (generous to a fault with time in the woodland and organising games), Tommy & Charlotte (some awesome maintenance in 2020) our accounts team Malcolm and Siu. Lastly, my bestest (mum) and family who have helped me keep things together while we made this huge decision.

Saturday 21st March - Full day Paintball sesh (they really went to town on each other) and a lovely Laser Tag group, perfect day for it!

Sunday Funday! 15th March - Wow what a day...One school game, one Junior Open Day, one private paintball game and two laser tag games to top it off and we dodged the rain 🥳

A big thank you to everybody who joined us today for some Paintball and Laser Tag shenanigans! We hope you had an absolute blaster of a day! It was lovely to have you all and we hope to see you all again soon!
