Children’s Mental Health Week is all about supporting the mental wellbeing of children and young people, and one of the simplest, most powerful ways to boost their mood is moving more.
The latest nationalSport England Active Lives Children & Young People Survey shows:
✨ Kids who are more active report feeling happier and more positive day to day
✨ Just one hour of activity a day can make a real difference to their wellbeing, but only 49% of children are currently hitting this target
And the good news?
You don’t need sports clubs, kit or big days out to help your child get moving. Little things count - playing in the park, walking to school, dancing around the living room, scootering with friends, or joining in with PE at school. So make one small change this week and make moving more a positive part of everyday family life.
