One of the most well-studied areas of aroma research is the effect of smell on emotions and mood.
The smell receptors in the nasal cavity also interact with glands such as the pituitary gland that secretes hormones. Hormones that are involved in the regulation of blood pressure, hunger and thirst signals, thyroid function, sleep cycles, production of s*xual hormones, and memory, among other things.
This is why the “aroma” of the AromaTouch Technique is so important.

Physical touch is as important to the AromaTouch Technique as the aroma itself because of its ability to soothe the body and bring people together. Research has exhibited that touch can communicate multiple emotions—love, gratitude, sympathy, fear, anger—and with astounding exactness. Antiseptic, anti parasitic, antitoxic, diuretic, expectorant and ANTISPASMODIC.

Fennel is widely know for increasing breast milk but outside of that nursing sage it’s great for PMS and Menopause.

One study found that it reduced the frequency and intensity of uterus induced contractions in rats.

In another study on mice it was found that fennel oil has potential in preventing bone loss in postmenopausal osteoporosis.

It has also been noted that during menopause the oil may improve va**nal dryness, pain during s*x and relieve hot flushes.

So use it during menstruation, after pregnancy (for breastfeeding) and during and post menopause.
