It’s a bitter sweet tiiiiiing. LONDON - 3:18:52 🥇
After 8 months off running, and less than 8 weeks training - I set the bar high at 3:15 knowing that even if I fell short, I’d still achieve something great in the process, which I did.
I’m proud of this one.
The race was hard but I believe the things you want most in life are often the side of hard
It’s also hard for me to put in to words how grateful I am that I get to experience moments like this alongside the people I love, and how much respect I have for the team who showed up, those who cheered on the route, and sent messages of support.

London Marathon week. x kudos collective breakfast this morning 🤝
Good views, good people, good food.
I rarely stop and reflect these days - but today was the first time I’ve ever been on a London boat ride.. and for a moment I just… stopped.
I felt at peace and felt grateful to be here 🙌❤️
Two days out from the London Marathon. Let’s get it. 🏃🏾♂️

21 days out - London Marathon 🇬🇧
30km long run complete /w .run
I posted my new race day trainers on my story this morning. By halfway, I wished I hadn’t put them on for such a long run for the first time.
Ended up with some serious blisters. Also carb loaded a little too heavy which left me feeling heavy for the whole run.
But training allows you to make mistakes so you don’t make them on race day. That’s two mistakes I won’t be making on 26th April. 👊
If you’re training for anything right now - test your kit early and get your nutrition wrong in training. Not on race day

Most kids have never been shown what they’re capable of.
rxnsford invited me into in Manchester for panel talk, Q&A, and a 2k run outside with the students which was supported by
It might sound strange but Halfway in to the run, I noticed some of the kids who’d never run together were pushing each other on and supporting each other, and nobody told them to do it.
And it reminded me that’s what fitness does. It doesn’t just build you personally but it builds community.
I’ve seen it before. When I first started training on the prison yard at 5AM with , after a few weeks there were 10–15 of us out there every morning.
It would be sick to see more schools need to be doing this. 🏃🏾♂️

If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll end up anywhere.
One important point I read in the book BE2.0 by Jim Collins was the importance of setting a vision, because without one, it’s impossible to create a strategy.
Set the vision of where you want to go.
Then build the strategy on how you’re going to get there.
My boy next to me won the Manchester Marathon…

First ever hybrid fitness race. Partnered with .tg
37 minutes on the clock. Around 75–80% of a HYROX simulation.
Dwight’s the stronger runner, so I started the stations and he finished them. Stronger runners usually handle running on tired legs better, and it gave me a bit more time to recover before going back into the run laps.
Small tweaks like that make a big difference when you’re doing doubles.
Sick event. Gymshark’s new conditioning range is landing soon, built for hybrid training. Be ready to cop. 🫡

Another year round the globe with a cheeky birthday feature on the Bulletin Magazine.
There were times birthdays didn’t feel like birthdays.
So this one is just about being here.
Healthy, focused and surrounded by the right people.
Life is what you make it and I’m grateful I get to remake mine 🙏
