The Lotte Berk Technique

SUPPORT is the theme of the first Lotte in my Living Room class live on Zoom Tuesday 06.30AM. It's been something I've been ruminating on a lot recently. We hope to have support systems in our world or professional support if needed, but first of all we have to learn to support ourselves. This class will follow the theme of self support in relation to the beautiful exercises of . This cause is particularly close to our hearts because where our studio is based in Dalston, North East London, we have the largest Turkish population in the UK. They are part of what makes our community so great. A third of our school children are Turkish. their food is our staple and most our shops and cafes are Turkish run. It's such a huge community and everyone has been effected in some way by the devastation this has caused. All proceeds are going to a local group and every penny will go to the victims.
This is our community. Please help 🙏

So excited!!!

I am soooooooo happy. First day of 121 Lotte training with a very talented student I can’t wait to introduce. We did so well today! I LOVE THIS JOB. If you learn with me we go deep. REALLY DEEP. It’s so technical and my mission is you understand every muscle twitch. We take our time. It’s 121 and we go at your own pace. I honestly never imagined how much enjoyment I would get from this! It’s a natural progression, I guess! I love this technique and I love teaching teachers. Please contact me if you are already a teacher and you want to know THE ORIGINAL barre class. It’s very technical and it’s not for everyone, but it’s perfect!

The Lotte Berk Technique is very technical and the smallest adjustment is everything. My eye is super sharp and I won’t let you get away with anything, but I’m never mean, just a perfectionist who wants you to get the most out of the technique and to understand what you should be feeling. Bullying by teachers is unacceptable and a class should never be punishment and you should never make somebody feel uncomfortable. Your role is that of acceptance and to create a safe space. I love teaching this class so much. Currently making a new playlist with really cool all new tracks. Getting quite experimental with the music for this one🎶 Very excited to be doing another 121 teacher training before embarking on my next round in spring. Pic Model - this pic of you🔥
