Kabaddi is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. Training every Monday 6-8pm, Union Gym, Beit Kabaddi is a sport that is growing all over the world.
The recent development of the ProKabaddi League in India, shows the global interest and draw that a sport of this intensity and excitement can bring to the global stage. At Imperial College, we aim to promote Kabaddi in the UK and hopefully showcase and propel our players onto the international stage. This week in Kabaddi- we welcomed some members from over for today's session!
We spent the first segment practicing raiding scenarios and drills in small groups, before heading on to the main session, with game practice. Everyone got a chance to try attacking a few times each until we were done.
All in all, another fun session! If anyone wants to join in, come over to the top floor of the student Union gym on Thursdays, 4-6pm.
