What a journey this was. And the key? Sustainability đ
Riad is one of my closest friends, he reached out asking if I could help him get back on track with his training. Heâd been out of the game for a while and felt stuck in a rut.
The key focus? Sustainability. Riad had been in great shape before, but his approach was often too aggressiveâsomething we both knew needed to change.
Like many people, heâd achieve incredible results but quickly bounce back once the intense dieting or training stopped. Think massive calorie deficits, extreme fasting windows, and fad diets. Sound familiar?
We shifted the focus to form over weight and quality over quantityâbuilding strength and control, not just lifting heavier.
On top of that, we set him up with a sustainable diet built around foods he already loved and enjoyed. It wasnât about restricting or cutting things out, but teaching him how to structure his meals and control his calories in a way that worked for his lifestyle.
The results speak for themselves, with only 3 months in between the two photos.

108kg down to 92kg within 3 months

Bumped into Gavin at the park 3 months ago and we had a catch-up
He was in a motorcycle accident injuring his calf severely which left him in a wheel chair for nearly a year
After the accident he piled on a lot of weight which is completely understandable
The doctors said he may never walk again but my guy had different plans
We spoke about his training even before the accident as Gavin has always been one of the hardest workers in the room and always prioritised and loved training
ââI should be looking like Cristiano Ronaldo the way I train Danââ which is funny but how a lot of people do feel as theyâre putting in the work but not seeing the results.
So we got into the specifics....
And we mutually understood that Gavin didnât have the knowledge or structure to reach the physique he was after as he wasnât too informed on the dietary side of a transformation which is the most important.
Just like a lot of guys Gav thought he could put in mad work in the gym and almost out train a bad diet or jump in and out of low cal (fad) diets
So he became one of my online clients...
Heâs executed everything Iâve put in front of him and stayed seriously disciplined
Now heâs feeling the best heâs ever felt and hungrier than ever to get to his dream physique

Just over 2 stone down and now at her goal weight of Kerry WashingtonđđŞđ˝

This is what hard work can accomplish within 3 months.
Now to progress even more!
The key is having a solid personalised training plan as well as making better lifestyle and food choices.
Also learning what works for you and what doesnât... Thinking long term.
People think that once you hit your goal weight/ physique the hard work stops, but itâs quite the contrary as people fall back into the same traps or bad habits and have to start back at square one.
Seek a better lifestyle and not a quick aesthetic change and you will reap the benefits long term and pass that on to those close to you.

ââWouldnât I get too âbulkyâ if I start weight training?ââ
This is a thought process a lot of woman carry and out of no fault of their own as the faces of the bodybuilding/ weights industry are normally PUMPED tf up and look insanely shredded.
My client Chang (pictured above) also had a similar thought process when it comes to lifting weights so she steered far away from the weights area... Until she joined the teamđ
So what does strength/ weight training benefit for females?

Chang had been training for a while but never seemed to get the results she wanted

A big journey from start to finish đŻ
This is what can happen in under a year when you focus and invest in yourself.
Yes, we specialize in menâs transformations but doesnât mean we do not still get great results for our female clients!
My client here prefers to stay anonymous, but in just 8 months, she went from feeling unconfident in her physique to loving the chance to wear a đ.
Surprisingly, this wasnât about endless gym sessions. With a busy schedule, she trained just 3x per week. The real transformation came from simple lifestyle adjustments: better snack choices, staying hydrated, curbing cravings with black coffee or sparkling water, adding more protein to her meals to keep her satiated (full) and moving a little more.
At first, these changes didnât seem like enough to get to her goals, but i told her to trust the process. After a month she started seeing changes and she was hooked. Realising that her yo-yo dieting from one extreme to the other was holding her back because it wasnât sustainable enough to manage.
Even with girls night, client dinners, and a few glasses of wine on weekends, she achieved a sustainable transformation.

For the younger lads looking to pack on size ⤾ď¸
One of my favourite transformations Iâve not shared was my younger brotherâs.
We put together a simple but structured training and nutrition plan, and Josh followed it to a tee for just 4 months. The transformation speaks for itself, the guy looks like he ate hisself!đ
Gaining around 8kg in this short space of time, this just goes to show how quickly you can build serious muscle at a younger training age. Your body is primed to adapt much faster during this period, making those early gains incredibly rewarding.

DB ELITE COACHING IS BACK ONLINE
Whatâs happening guys!
Itâs been a while to say the least. The comeback has been a long time coming but after the craziest 2 years in my personal life, I believe now is the right time to return online.
I may dive a little more into why we havenât been on social media later onâŚ
But for now, a quick update on the business and whatâs been going on behind the scenes at DB Elite Coaching.
I was away in Spain this summer launching a new venture so we took a few months off from the PT studio and switched everyone to online coaching, then returned to the studio again in September.
So apart from the summer break, over the last 18 months the team at have been working as usual.
However, in the last 3 months since being back in London, and a lot of work later our Online Coaching clientele roster has grown considerably. Meaning there has been no better time to get back online and bring back our social media platforms.
Because of this, it made sense to separate our pages.
This page will be my personal Online Coaching account, __studio is our PT studio page and dbelitecoaching is our Online Coaching business page.
We will be easing back into the process of getting back online over the next few weeks so bear with us.
