Hey guys. I was listening to the new Audible version of Philosopher’s Stone and noticed that there are changes to the book text. Platform 9 3/4 entrance has always been described as a solid, metal barrier between Platforms 9 and 10, but in the audible version, they describe it more specifically as a “ticket box”. Just found that to be interesting. Does anyone know if this change is new for the Audible version or was it a prior revision incorporated to the book? ~Patronus Shadow

Made this illustration of Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape.

Text that inspired the illustration:

Potions lessons took place down in one of the dungeons. It was colder here than up in the main castle, and would have been quite creepy enough without the pickled animals floating in glass jars all around the walls.

Snape, like Flitwick, started the class by taking the roll call, and like Flitwick, he paused at Harry’s name.

“Ah, yes,” he said softly, “Harry Potter. Our new — celebrity.”
