✨ FIRST POLE CLASS? HERE’S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ✨
Thinking about trying pole for the first time? We know it can feel a little nerve-wracking, but we’ve got you! 💜
Before your first class at Pole Academy LDN, here are a few things to know:
✔️ Wear shorts – Pole requires skin contact to help you grip the pole safely. Shorts are essential, even if you’re feeling a little shy at first!
✔️ Skip the moisturiser. Avoid applying lotion, oils, or fake tan on the day of your class as they make the poles slippery.
✔️ Bring water. Pole is a full-body workout and you’ll definitely work up a sweat!
✔️ Arrive 5-10 minutes early. This gives you time to check in, meet your instructor, and get settled before class starts.
✔️ No experience needed. Our beginner classes are designed for complete beginners. You don’t need strength, flexibility, or dance experience to start.
✔️ Expect to laugh, learn, and surprise yourself. Everyone starts somewhere, and you’ll be amazed at what your body can do.
✔️ Bruises are normal. Pole can be challenging on the skin at first, but your body adapts over time.
✔️ Don’t compare yourself to others. Every student progresses at their own pace. Focus on your own journey and celebrate every win.
