Young tennis players have just finished a social round robin match play afternoon giving them experience in competitive tennis. We run these sessions once a month on Saturday afternoons.
Some of the Ladies morning class attendees on Monday mornings. Drills first followed by a game of tennis.
Walking tennis attendees for ladies and gentlemen, which started February this year. Classes take place on Monday mornings. All these sessions are indoors atm. Call 02085230900 for more detail. Pickleball coming soon.

Walking tennis for all. Whether finding difficulty running, coming out of an injury or medical condition, walking tennis could be for you. Classes on Mondays 10.00-11.30am cost £7.00 per session with your first two sessions FREE. ring 02085230900 if you are interested or you can join via clubspark (online booking system).

Tennis for all!

Chingford School of Tennis players played a friendly match v Waterfall Club today. Singles and doubles. Chingford just tipped the balance and won 12-10, the boys being coached by Matt McDowell. Mark Worton coaches the junior players at Waterfall Club and also strings Chingford’s rackets. Players from each club meet about twice a year. A great time was had by all.

We held 3 successful junior grade 5 tennis tournaments today. 18 8u’s playing red ball mini tennis and 10 11u girls and 10 11u boys playing yellow ball tennis. Every court, including the new airhall, was being used by the tournament players as well as members and nonmembers. The place was humming. Such a great atmosphere. And what weather!

Come to our Open Day on Saturday 6th September and see the new 3-court permanent airhall, newly resurfaced courts, new top of the range LED floodlights, fencing and pathways. 10.00-4.45pm. There are a range of activities throughout the day which can be book via clubspark. Rackets and balls provided.

CST ran its newest group today: adult beginners. We started with serves followed by forehands. Next week, backhands. Well done, everyone and thank you for coming along today.

OPEN DAY AT CHINGFORD SCHOOL OF TENNIS POSTPONED. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Open Day scheduled for Saturday 26th July has now been postponed to later this year. We will post a new date shortly. In the meantime the courts, indoor and outdoor, are open to members and the general public. A beginners adult class starts Tuesday 22nd July at 6.00-7.00.
