Do you think this girl was wearing inappropriate clothes to go in front of a govt Minister?
A female MP is allowed to enter Parliament wearing a sleeveless blouse, but a college student was stopped by an official from welcoming the chief guest minister just because she was wearing a sleeveless kurti.
The dress code was Indian attire, and she was dressed in a white suit with a blue dupatta. It was not mentioned that sleeveless is not allowed.

Family courts are “not good enough” and have treated women and children unfairly for decades, a government minister has said.
Announcing a major overhaul of the family justice system in England and Wales that will play a central role in “rebalancing” the family courts, Alison Levitt said often brutal legal showdowns will be replaced with a “problem-solving”, child-focused model.
Part of a move across the Ministry of Justice to tackle court backlogs, the department said child focused courts – which centre on child welfare and seeks out-of-court resolutions – have reduced child trauma, cut a backlog of cases and reduced waiting times.

“Idea of modern women”
Ratna Pathak Shah has openly criticized Bollywood’s stereotypical portrayal of modern women. In an interview, she stated, “Nowadays, the idea of a modern woman is one who smokes and drinks,” highlighting the film industry’s narrow perception. She further revealed that she has rejected several scripts because they depict modern aunts and mothers in a similar way, saying, “Modern aunty kya hoti hai? Modern mummy kya hoti hai? Woh baithke sutta marti hai.” Shah emphasized that true modernity is about one’s mindset and behavior rather than superficial habits. Her remarks sparked discussions about the need for more realistic and diverse representations of women in cinema.
