Before an important competition, we sharpen our focus.
Ramadan is entering its most important phase. The final stretch is approaching.
Now is the time to increase our effort and prepare ourselves for the greatest opportunities ahead

Today was my last time teaching at Al Qawi Self Defence.

Over the last 7½ years, many students have come and gone. Some of you have been with me since day one, and it has been a real honour to be part of your journeys. Seeing many of you grow in confidence, discipline, and character has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me.

This was not an easy decision, but sometimes change is part of growth.

I am now focusing on my own Taekwondo/Kickboxing club — Pil Sung Combat Taekwondo.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who stepped onto the mat with me. Teaching is never just about techniques or drills — it’s about the people, the friendships, and the lessons we learn along the way. Wherever your martial arts journey takes you, keep training, keep improving, and remember that the discipline you build on the mat will carry you through life.

Ramadan is the same. It’s not only about doing the actions, but improving the quality — more focus in prayer, more sincerity in our intentions, more awareness in our behaviour.
