VK Barnet Volleyball Club

Great job today, with Barnet Boys and Girls both winning Bronze Medals at London Youth Games. And thanks to Sean and Tommy for coaching.

It is with great sadness that we find ourselves in the unfortunate position of having to make very tough decisions about the future of our club. The loss of QE Girls as a playing venue for so long has had a catastrophic impact on our membership. We are so few at training now that the committee have decided to terminate the training sessions pending a final decision on the future of the club. It is only with the support of committee members that clubs such as these can continue and with so few members left there is no one expressing an interest in taking the club forward. The current committee can only do so much with the few that are left.

Thank you to all who have played, coached, supported, cheered for us! It has been a wonderfully long run where lots of friendships have been born.

New season 2018-2019 starts on Tuesday 18th Sept at St Michael’s Gramme School, Nether Street, North Finchley. £8 pay as you go. 8-10pm with coach Olia.

To Any Juniors 12-18yrs
Sean and Eric are running junior sessions at St Albans Beach Courts. Every Weds 6.45-8.45, but please contact me before turning up. Sessions are £5. Eric

Our friends in Willesden VC are running a summer volleyball camp on Tuesdays from the 24th July to 21st August at Willesden sports centre for junior players. 12 -18yrs.
Admission £2.00
