💥HEAD OF THE RIVER RACE REPORT💥
The 2026 Head of the River Race was a great success for the Wolfson Men this year. On a bright and slightly blustery but thankfully dry day, Wolfson M1 took to the Tideway and improved on their 2025 time (20:55.5) by over 30s (20:24.9). The day wasn’t without its drama, as a last minute substitute was needed, and thankfully WCBC’s own Hannah Robson was able to wolf down enough porridge and don a spare uni-suit (thanks Rob) and pair of Oakleys (thanks Josh) to allow us to row the full 6.8km without a hitch. It was a great way to top off an already incredible Lent Term 2026🙌🏻 A massive thank you from us all goes out to Andrew for coaching us whilst Ollie is preparing his Lightweight Women’s crew for the Boat Race this Saturday, and to Angelika for coming into the set-up and coxing us for the event. Bring on next term!😎💪🏻
