Saturday league roundup: The 1XI go marching on 😎🙌🏽
Wins also for the 3XI and 4XI

After the 1XI put Wycombe House into bat they managed to bowl out the hosts for 185. 3 wickets from Nav, 2 from Billy and Jamal helping SH keep the chase under 200. In reply SH managed to chase the score down inside 37 overs thanks to a gutsy opening score from Saqi (33), Iffy supporting with (23) and a solid partnership at the end between Stefan (35*) and Tauqeer (33*) to get yet another win for the boys.

The 3XI picked up their first win of the season with a 37 run victory over Finchley. SH batted first and made 256 thanks to a superb hundred from Tim Marcon who was also supported by Andre (51). SH managed to restrict Finchley to 219-4 thanks to some economical bowling from Saif and Jon. Ethan Tyra also returning for his first game and supporting with a tight spell of seam.

The 4XI won by 119 runs against Wycombe House. After batting first SH posted a score of 187 thanks to more runs from Jewel (52) and Sakib (47). In reply SH steamrolled the Wycombe House batting lineup thanks to Imran Ali producing one of his Imran Ali spells picking up 7 wickets for 18 runs and bowling out Wycombe House for 68.

Unfortunately the 2XI succumbed to their first defeat of the season. Bessborough batted first and posted a mammoth total of 314. In reply SH were bowled out for 196 despite fifties from T Islam and Colin Clarke.

Wins for the 1XI, 2XI and the 4XI! ☀️

4 wins on the bounce for the 1XI after an impeccable bowling performance by the boys to bowl out Southgate CC for 93. Jamal picking up 4 wickets off his 9, Stefon picking up 2 wickets of his 9, Bilal Akram picking up 2 wickets off his 8 for only 9 runs and both Majid and Tauqeer picking up a wicket a piece.

In reply SH chased the runs down 5 wickets down thanks to yet another good performance with the bat from Nav (46) and Leroy (17*) and Majid (8*) taking SH over the line.

The 2XI carried on their demolition job in the league. After winning the toss and putting the opposition into bat SH bowled out Tower Hamlets for a 100. Saqib taking 3 wickets off his 9 supported by a sublime spell from Shareek picking up two wickets of his 9. It was Alex who was the star with the ball taking 4 wickets off his 4.3 overs for just 4 runs which included two maidens. In response SH chased it down comfortably after an unbeaten 63* from Colin and Saqi hitting 22.

Unfortunately the 3XI lost a tight game against Stanmore.

The 4XI picked up the ten points after Jewel made an unbeaten 122* supported by Raheel (39) and skipper Adnan (33) to take the team total to 236-5. In response SH bowled out Chiswick for a 101. Imran Ali picking up 4 wickets for 16 runs and Usman and Saqlain picking up a couple of wickets each.
