In preparation for it starting to get colder these next few months, we thought we’d share our tikka masala curry recipe that can be cooked for a cosy night in. 🍛 This dish feeds four in all, and іѕ packed with рrоtеіn, hеаlthу omega, аnd anti-inflammatory hеrbѕ. Serve it wіth brоwn rісе fоr ѕlоw-burnіng carbs аnd еxtrа fiber.

Duration: 30 minutes.

Ingredients:
• 1.5 tаblеѕрооnѕ оf оlіvе оіl�• Cut 1.5 pounds of bоnеlеѕѕ chicken into 2-іnсh ріесеѕ�
• 1 сuр unsalted chicken stock�
• 1.5 сuрѕ оf сhорреd yellow оnіоn�• 5 сlоvеѕ оf garlic, сhорреd�• 1 tаblеѕрооn of grated gіngеr�• 2 tаblеѕрооnѕ оf unѕаltеd tomato paste�
• Sрісе mіx: 1.5 tѕр turmеrіс роwdеr, 1.5 tsp gаrаm mаѕаlа, 1/4 tѕр cayenne рерреr
• A ԛuаrtеr сuр оf whipped сrеаm�• 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt�• 2 tablespoons оf chopped cilantro

Preparation:�
1. Bоіl thе oil оvеr high hеаt in a lаrgе, hеаvу ѕаuсераn. Flір thе сhісkеn аnd соаt evenly іn оіl, turnіng occasionally fоr 5 tо 6 minutes untіl brоwnеd.
2. Add gаrlіс, onion, аnd gіngеr to thе сhісkеn, ѕtіrrіng соnѕtаntlу fоr 2 mіnutеѕ.
3. Add thе tоmаtо раѕtе, garam masala, turmеrіс, аnd сауеnnе, аnd ѕtіr fоr 2 mоrе mіnutеѕ.
4. Stіr іn thе chicken ѕtосk, whірреd cream, аnd ѕаlt. Sіmmеr, ѕtіrrіng occasionally, for аbоut 10 minutes untіl thе curry thісkеnѕ
5. Add сhорреd cilantro tо gаrnіѕh thе сurrу and serve wіth brоwn rісе.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: consistency is key. 👊 Whether it's hitting the gym or sticking to a regular sleep routine, we're all about making those habits count. This isn’t to say you should beat yourself up if you miss a session - you’re only human after all, but maintaining habits certainly makes things easier for yourself. By working one on one with a PT you can begin to establish those habits that support your body and individual routine with industry-leading advice.

Think of holistic fitness as a puzzle, where each piece represents a different aspect of well-being—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. To complete the picture of health, you need to address and balance all these pieces.

This is why we think the personal training approach is the best way to approach fitness. It is so much more beneficial in the long-term to work with a professional who knows you, your lifestyle and how your body reacts.

Get to know the team: Coach Jimmy👏

-How long have you worked at Club 51?
-I have been at Club 51 for a few months now and I already feel at home. It’s such a relaxed environment to work at and everyone has been amazing which has made the transition so smooth.��

-Why did you become a corrective exercise therapist?
-I love doing what I do. My background is sports therapy so having that in the toolbox allows me to be fully part of the journey from pain to performance. I love the mixture of clients we work with and as cliche as it sounds, that’s the best part about the job. I could be doing acute therapy treatments with one client and the next hour, we are building into a heavy lifting session. ��

-Any hobbies?
-I love all sports - watching and playing. Although cricket, football and tennis are the main ones I play throughout the year. Outside of that, I am massive foodie and love trying out new food from around the world. Any tips of places I need to try out in London, I am there!!

�-A piece of media that you would recommend to other people?
-That’s a hard question to answer, my taste changes so much. As you can imagine, I love sports documentaries and recently watched “At Home With The Fury’s” following
Tyson Fury around. It’s an amazing watch and great insight into mindset of an elite athlete but also the impact on the family and kids, especially the struggles his wife has to go through to deal with his mental health issues. ��

-Favourite Spot in London?
-Other than Club 51, I love being in the Covent Garden area and The West End. Great vibes and obviously amazing places to eat!
