Huge shout out to .thomson for taking on this awesome 313km Audax 👊

Heading west from London the route takes in some beautiful Wiltshire countryside, all the way to Salisbury and back. An enormous day out, especially because our Fab Four also rode to and from the start. Great work team 🙌

When the weather gets better, head for the hills ⛰️
Feels like forever, but a return to the Kent hills in winter is a rite of passage 💁
We all have that ‘enough is enough’ moment, when it’s time to saddle up, dig out all the winter kit and just get out there!
Even if you do a short ride, something easy and manageable, it’s a start.
Kudos to this group who made the most of the mild(er) weather and took to the hills. Good job team 👍

London Brighton London with is a January tradition. A bit mad, you might say, but a tradition none the less!

+/- 200km on a cold Jan day is something only a certain type of rider leaps out of be for, but as these photos show, it certainly is rewarding 💪

Hopefully your fingers and toes have defrosted by now team? Roll on the next ‘Willy’s Big Ride’ to Oxford and back - LOL 👊

January riding is always a risk, but when you get a reasonable day (apart from the massive puddles) then you have to take it 👍

Well the rain came and the wind blew, but our little group of New Year’s Revolution riders still braved the elements for some laps. Top job everyone, and big thanks as always to for the post ride 🍕
Next week we’re heading out to in Ripley (or depending on route/group). It seems our New Year’s resolution is to have more cake stops - which no doubt everyone can get on board with🧁

The Festive Fundred 🎄
A lot of people will soon be taking on the Festive 500, but that just seems a bit…hard. Especially this year.
So we propose the Festive Fundred. Set yourself the challenge of doing 100 somethings this Xmas.

KMs, press ups, vertical running/walking metres and other fitness challenges are all great. So is eating 100 mince pies, drinking 100 cups of tea - the choice is yours 🥧
However if you’d rather donate your monies instead of your time, then we’d highly recommend giving some multiple of 100 pennies to a charity in need and close to your heart.

Pre Christmas laps 🎄🚴‍♀️🤌
Regent’s Park can be really beautiful in the run up to Christmas. Quieter than usual, the pre Christmas lap is a lovely tradition and a great chance to bid ride mates a final ‘merry Christmas’ before everyone deserts London.

Thrilled to have been invited to ’s Year in Sport breakfast yesterday. Such an inspiring room full of people, all celebrating community and particitpation💪
The main takeaways are that commuting by bike is on the up again, especially in women, and that group riding/running causes you to go further and faster. But we already knew that!
Big thanks to club ambassadors and for representing at the breakfast.
