Learn The Putting Basics - £12.50 4 Spaces

The first 20 minutes will focus on alignemnet with use of mirrors and the Odyssey Red Ball putter. Followed by 20 minutes on pace and distance control then learning how to read the greens for the last 20 minutes.

9 Holes with the Pro - £10 3 Spaces

A great way to play with your Pro and learn a tip or two.

Practice Club- £5 6 Spaces

This is focused from 75 yards and in. If you are taking more than 3 shots from this distance, this is the club for you!
20 minutes pitching, 20 minutes chipping then 20 minutes putting, attend this a few times and your scores will lower!

3 Hole Odyssey Putt Off – FREE

Use the Odyssey Red-Ball in a 3-hole putt off. See how this unique design can help your putting performance. Each contestant will win a 10% discount off the putter and the winner on each time zone will win a free lesson too.

For free try your current driver against the new Callaway Xr Speed using our SkyTrak ball flight analyser. We will be able to see if different technology can improve your ball speed and ultimately your distance off the tee!

Each event is between 1-3pm on both Thursday 23rd and Sunday 26th August. To book your fifteen minute slot please reply to this email or use the sign up sheet opposite the honours board.

Have you ever played a “Shambles”? We have one on Thursday 30th August at 11am and it’s free!

What is it?
The tee shots take the format of a “Texas Scramble” where all four players hit a drive. Then you select the “best” one, from here the format changes and all four golfers play their individual ball from that drive position. Then each player will score stableford points against their handicap when they complete the hole. The best score of the team of four
versus their handicap will be the team score for the hole.

It is a different and fun way to play the game so hopefully you can try it out. Invite friends and guests at no extra cost. To sign up please hit the reply button below the picture or alternatively please email [email protected]

Korean BBQ...
When is it?
Bank holiday Monday 27th August 12:30 pm shotgun start (arrive for 11:30) Hopefully the weather is the same as the picture!

What is it?
A mixed texas scramble followed by a delicious Korean BBQ cooked by one of our local restaurants from New Malden. There are big team prizes to be won and also some great Korean styled entertainment after the event.

How much is it?
£20 per golfer
£15 per evening guest (invite as many as you want)

It's the 13th annual event and is certainly one to not miss out on. To confirm your place please reply to this email [email protected] or sign up on the mixed notice board. Please also confirm your guests too.

Remaining events in July...
Look out for our “Splash 4 Cash” event this Saturday 21st July between 1-2pm. It is a minimum of £2.50 per three attempts but as seen by the picture you can win big! Norma received 60% off in the shop by pitching two balls into the 30yard target! All proceeds will be donated to the Captains Charity so it is certainly worth a go. We had 28 participants for our last event on the 10th July, raising close to £100 so hopefully this Saturday we can do the same.

A great chance to recieve some discount In the shop by chipping into some paddling pools. It’s all in the name of charity with all proceedings going to the Ladies Captains Charity. Targets are set out at 10, 20 and 30 yards so it’s a great way to practice your mini pitches.

Ideally attend all 4 sessions over the month and see how practicing the right things when putting and chipping can drastically improve your golf. You will be given specific short game scorecards that will help ascertain your performance through the weeks or even the year if you keep the good practice habits going.

A fun way to meet new faces and hunt down some birdies in a pressure free format.

Free Cleveland Wedge Clinic
Saturday 14th July 14:00 - 16:00
Book your 10 minute slot now! Try the new Cleveland wedges and test how they feel, spin and the accuracy of them. You will also be taught how to use your bounce to help you strike your shots better.

Spin Challenge Results...
Some big changes in spin performance yesterday and this morning with most members increasing their spin by over 1000RPM.

Most of this was created by changing to either the Srixon AD333 or Callaway Chrome Soft ball and using a clean wedge with no dirt in the grooves.

The “Spin King” was Brian Luckhurst who increased his spin on a 30 yard shot by 4821 RPM! He was ripping it backwards on such a short shot!

The “Spin Queen” was Rosemary Vase who gained 2199 RPM! This is huge and will help with the awkward shots over bunkers.

The summer holidays are almost here and we have many golf camps to keep your children active! Book and pay before 3rd June and receive 10% OFF plus a half price individual lesson voucher per camp booked.

Whether they are avid golfers or taking their first golfing steps, the summer camps at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club offer the perfect opportunity for your child to enjoy their golf.

The itinerary for the camps would follow:

10am – Putting
11am – Chipping and pitching
12pm – Lunch
12.30pm – Driver and iron play/golf course experience
2pm - Finish

Each day we will be playing fun games that help your child develop easy and simple techniques.
