We built Jonny's bike back in early 21, designed initially as a versatile all-road bike, based around the 'Escape' frame, with AXS at its centre.

A few years, many kilometers, and a number of audax and light gravel adventures later, Jonny decided he wanted to switch his focus to multi-day off-road events, with the likes of the .route and the Hungary Divide () already on the list.

Considering the versatility of the Escape frame, as well as the seemingly endless lever, derailleur and ratio options available with SRAM AXS, no huge overhaul was required to prepare this build for some serious off-road adventures.

We’ve had the wacky idea to cycle to the CX World Championships in Hoogerheide this weekend, and as such the workshop will be closed from Saturday 4th - Wednesday 8th.
