Alfie Lloyd has agreed a new contract at QPR.

The 23-year-old forward – who arrived from Yeovil Town five years ago – extends his stay in west London after putting pen to paper at the TSG Training Centre.

Lloyd spent the 2025/26 season on loan before returning to Rangers in the summer, making his mark in pre-season with a hat-trick in our 7-0 win at Bromley.

“I’m really happy to have signed it,” he said.

“This is where I want to be for my long-term future and I’m just excited to keep going, keep doing what I’ve been doing and repay the faith that’s been shown in me.

“I enjoy every day here and it’s the best place for me to develop as a player and as a person.”

Lloyd’s loans last campaign came at Leyton Orient and Lincoln City, where he helped the Imps clinch promotion to the Championship.

Reflecting on his success at Sincil Bank, he said: “It was definitely very special. I probably developed more as a person than I ever have in a year.

“It was obviously great to celebrate promotion but I also learned a lot of lessons.

“I feel like a different player now, a different person, and more ready for what’s to come.”

Now back home, Lloyd is looking forward to resuming his relationship with the R’s faithful.

“The fans have always been really good to me,” he said. “They’ve shown me loads of love and
I’m really grateful for the belief that they’ve shown in me.

“I love playing in front of them, home and away, so I just hope I can do it for a long time.”

QPR CEO Christian Nourry said: “Alfie didn’t get the number of minutes that he was hoping for out on loan in two spells last season, but he returned to pre-season in June with an exemplary outlook - seeking to answer the following question on a daily basis: ‘How can I contribute the maximum possible on the pitch and off of it for the good of the team and for my own development?’

“On the pitch, his hold-up play, ability to repeat high speed runs and shot placement have all improved in recent months too.

“It’s a pleasure to continue the journey with him.”
