From two cars on an 8‑mile road in 1867… to global racing icons.
Auto racing didn’t just appear—it evolved through courage, engineering, and pure human ambition.

In 1867, England witnessed the first-ever car‑to‑car race between Ashton‑under‑Lyne and Old Trafford.
But the world’s first true multi‑vehicle contest came on 22 July 1894, when over 100 entrants attempted the Paris–Rouen trial.
Only 69 machines made the 50 km selection run… and just 21 earned the right to start the main event.
That moment became the foundation of motorsport as we know it.
