After careful consideration and consultation with clubs across England, the RFU has decided to delay the start of the competitive community game season until the week commencing Monday 21 September.

The RFU recognises this will be disappointing for clubs, players and volunteers who have been preparing for the new season, but the decision follows consideration of a range of factors. For full details please follow this link.

Another Antler returning for the 26/27 season is a fan fave, Alfie Ransom.

Currently sitting on 96 1st XV caps, Alfie is set to bring up the big 100 this season — a fitting milestone for a player who has become such an important part of the Antlers over the years.

An incredibly level-headed player who consistently gets through a mountain work to help carry the team.

A recurring MoTM, and the resident voice of reason whenever the rest of the squad are making questionable decisions.

We’re delighted to have our all-round good egg back for another season and can’t wait to see him bring up the century. 💙🦌

Back for another season is Hal Dare.💙🦌

Having been an important part of the Antlers pack over the last few seasons, Hal has become a key player in the front row and a particularly unwelcome sight for anyone lining up opposite him at scrum time.

Rugby clearly runs in the family, with Hal being the second most talented Dare… hopefully Zoe can give some tips.

We’re chuffed to have Hal back and look forward to another season of him doing what he does best — making life miserable for opposition front rows.

🦌👨🏻‍🦳 Back for his 10th season - we’re welcoming the Cornish sensation that is Emmo Allen.

Since joining the club as a St Mary’s rugby league alum, he has produced countless great plays, while also achieving numerous injuries…

A great team player who’s never afraid of making his voice heard, loves a pre-game pep talk, and can’t say no to a social- we can’t wait to see Emmo reach 100 caps this season.

We’re so excited to have Emmo back for another season and think he’s the best. (admin is biased…) 💙💛

🦌 New Signing! ✍️

We’re delighted to welcome Theo to the Antlers ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The 20-year-old joins us from Old Cranleighans and Loughborough, where he has continued his development whilst competing in BUCS rugby. Comfortable in both the second and row, Theo has already built an impressive rugby CV, representing London Irish at U16 level, Middlesex U18s, England U20s Touch Rugby and Tropic 7s.

We’re excited to see what the season brings and look forward to watching him grow in Antlers colours.

🦌⭐️ Another Antler returning for the 26/27 season is George Young.

Having made a Bushy Park comeback after an 18-year hiatus that saw him represent both Esher and Wimbledon in the National Leagues, George wasted no time getting stuck in.

No surprise he was recognised as the 1st XV Best New Player.

We can’t wait to have him back for another season!

Pre-season continues every Monday and Wednesday at Bushy Park from 7:00pm. 🦌💙
