On a mission to end nagging aches, pains & reoccurring injury setbacks for 1 million active people ✝️

I’m guilty of getting this wrong😑❌

After I left school I was focused on how I looked and how big my muscles were🤦🏼‍♂️

I followed a training plan that was solely focused on a bodybuilding style of training that left out pretty much all cardiovascular 🫀 work & mobility work ❌

And my nutrition was based off a ‘get big on a budget’ YouTube video…🙃

I was completely neglecting my health and as a result, I just did not FEEL good😅

Fast forward almost a decade my training style, nutrition & how I coach my clients is focused around the ethos of feeling, moving and looking good✅

My clients and my training programs and nutrition frameworks are designed fully with that ethos in mind ☑️

Is your current fitness regime aligned with your goals?🧐

My advice: Don’t neglect your health and how you feel plus move in return for looking a certain way🙏🏼

If you’d like some help building a holistic fitness and nutrition program, drop me a DM, I’m here to help 😎

Struggling with tight hips but not sure where you’re actually lacking range of motion?🤨

I train a lot of clients who, due to their work commitments, are relatively sedentary. This can lead to the hips getting pretty jammed up🚫

Give this hip internal & external rotation mobility test a crack🚀

Drop me a DM if you’ve got any questions😎

The Bulgarian Split Squat🇧🇬

Love programming this exercise & utilising it with clients✅

Don’t enjoy actually do the exercise…they’re tough!! But oh so effective😎

Here’s how you can get into the Bulgarian split squat position with ease🔥 a lot of my clients struggle with how far forward or back they should have their front foot🦶

Use this tight rope walk method🔑

If you have limited ankle dorsiflexion (like me) or are working on some other mobility limitations then this is a really safe to squat instead of a conventional barbell bilateral squat🫡

Any questions, drop me a DM 💬

Cross education effect 🧠📈

It’s a phenomenon whereby training one side of the body results in an increased strength on the opposite side of the body! 🚀

2018 meta-analysis by Green et al revealed a strength gain between 18-29% in the opposite (non working) limb! 📖

Hope you found this useful. If you’re injured, don’t worry!

1️⃣ You can still train✅
2️⃣ It is beneficial to still train✔️
3️⃣ It is going to make you feel 10x better mentally☑️

Any questions drop me a message!

Try these two movements to help with your posture ☎️🖥️🪑

I have a lot of clients who work very sedentary desk jobs. So we spend a lot of time reversing the negative effects of that

Hope these help you!👊🏼

An inexpensive bit of kit that could DRASTICALLY change your training 🔑

Heart rate zones:

Zone 1 - 50/60% of max HR (recovery)
Zone 2 - 60/70% of max HR (manageable)
Zone 3 - 70/80% of max HR (challenging but doable)
Zone 4 - 80/90% of max HR (feeling the burn)
Zone 5 - 90/100% of max HR (all out effort)

Zones 1-3 are mostly aerobic & zones 4-5 are mostly anaerobic

Aerobic energy system - with oxygen
Anaerobic energy system - without oxygen

Easy & simple way to workout your approx. Max heart rate (beats per minute) is the figure 220 minus your age.
