Starting a new class can feel like a BIG step — for little dancers and their grown-ups! 💕 So, what can you expect when you walk through the doors at Dakodas for the first time?

🌟 A warm welcome — Our teachers are here to make your child feel comfortable, confident and excited to dance!

🎶 Lots of movement & fun — Expect music, imagination, games and plenty of opportunities to explore movement.

👯 Learning together — Your child will begin developing the foundations of their chosen style while learning how to follow instructions and work alongside others.

💗 A little bit of everything— They might jump straight in, they might need a little encouragement, or they might spend the first class taking everything in. And that’s absolutely okay!

Dance is so much more than learning steps — it’s about building confidence, developing technique, creating friendships and growing as a dancer week after week! 🩰✨

Every class builds on the one before. When dancers attend regularly, they have the opportunity to:
✨ Develop their technique and strength
✨ Build confidence and performance skills
✨ Keep up with choreography and classwork
✨ Make progress towards their goals
✨ Build strong relationships with their teachers and fellow dancers

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, but regular attendance really does make a difference. Every class is another opportunity to learn, grow and become the best dancer you can be! 💗
