WILLPOWER!

I keep hearing this word a lot.

“I’m running out of willpower”

“I have no willpower”

Some of you might manage to make it thorough the whole day “eating well” then find yourself raiding the fridge, emotionally eating the rest of the week.

Or “being good” with your food Monday to Friday then ruin it at the weekend.

Or the worst one, your on a roll for 3 weeks hitting the gym, your nutrition is on point. Then set yourself back to square one with the “f**k it” button.

Whichever one of these is your worst enemy, it can leave you feeling deflated, demoralised and questioning yourself if you have the willpower to even reach your goals.

Yet this is always the problem!

You don’t really understand willpower.

Willpower isn’t some gift.

No matter who you are, you don’t have infinite willpower.

Flip the switch, realise that your willpower is like a battery: it needs to reset and it only has so much power before it runs out.

A lot of the time willpower isn’t the issue. It’s a structure issue.

For example, fixing little things in your daily routine like preparing your meals for work, getting to bed earlier, taking the snacks out of the house.

Having more structure requires less willpower, so you have more power in the battery when it really matters 👌🏼

Have a good week 💪🏼

This one is for the WFH CREW!

Feeling like your stuck in the house all day?

You find yourself on another journey to the fridge for the 100th snack of the day.

You might not of been a big snacker before pre-working from home, but you find yourself slipping into this habit.

You’re aware of what you’re doing and you can feel the pounds creeping on, but you can’t stop.

You keeping telling yourself you will stop tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes..

I’m going to tell you straight!!!

You won’t stop!

You’re being stubborn and you end up feeling bad that you keep going to the fridge.

So you snack more because your feeling bad…

It’s a vicious circle ⭕️

You’re relying on willpower so you don’t snack, when really changing your environment will help you form better eating habits .

✅Get rid of the snacks/junk out of the house
✅Set times when you allow yourself in the kitchen
✅Get some healthy meals in place

Make it difficult!!

If this is you and your finding it hard to have some willpower DM me the word “snacks” and I can help you through it 🙏🏼

Sometimes your worst moments is your biggest strength.

When you use that pain for fuel on your journey.

“Going on holidays and out with friends, feeling like the biggest one there”

“Feeling the most unhealthiest I have in a long time, I couldn’t even climb the stairs without getting out of breath”

Hannah feeling so uncomfortable and let down it actually got to this stage.

Then came the final blow.

A photo that was taken. She didn’t even recognise herself.

She knew over the years she was pilling on the weight, but she was in denial.

Not being able to fit into any of her clothes and was dressing in clothes she didn’t even like because it “felt comfortable”

This was the harsh reality that forced Hannha to make some serious changes.

One year on she has lost 40kg

Not only did she lose this weight, but she has gained more confidence, she is a much happier person and has more value of life.

Sometimes when we feel we are at the lowest point in life, it could be the start of a new chapter.

It’s on you to make the changes.

When you write things down and make a plan, the intention is more likely to happen…

Don’t think 10,000 steps a day, if you don’t really walk much start with 3 times a week and take it from the there xx
