After communicating with various parties, it appears this was likely all a misunderstanding.
I have my suspicions about who instigated this situation in Hong Kong and their motives, but I will not name the individual - he does not deserve the attention.

What is certain is that he misled some members of the Fujian White Crane Association of Sifu Lee Kong and himself, convincing them of something that is simply untrue.
To make a long story short: a vote was held, and a statement was issued—both laughable and ridiculous.

He managed to convince people that I was claiming to be a direct representative of the Fujian White Crane Association of Lee Kong. In reality, I have only ever stated that I am a representative of the Weng Chun & Fujian White Crane Association, which was founded by myself and Sifu Sunny So on September 2, 2020, in Hong Kong.

For the record, Sifu Sunny So—just like me—is also not a direct representative of Lee Kong’s Fujian White Crane Association but nevertheless has been his student for almost 2 decades. This makes the instigator’s actions even more disingenuous. He played a very sneaky game.

The Weng Chun & Fujian White Crane Association works in close collaboration with the Eternal Spring Institute, organizing events focused on Weng Chun and the Fujian White Crane system as taught by Sifu Lee Kong. Nothing more, nothing less.
