A brilliant start to the summer with some outstanding performances across the club and beyond:

Eva – 5 wickets for Middlesex U14s and 71* for our U15 Girls
Hudson – 52* off just 26 balls
Zahan – 67*
George B – 4 wickets
Max – 53*
George H – 58*

Zarminae hit an impressive 75 in the opening Southern Women’s Premier Division match of the season, while Coach Kerry scored 72 and Paloma took 4 wickets for North Hill CC.

What’s been worked on this week at PHCC? 🏏

With summer just around the corner, this week has been all about turning a strong winter of training into match-ready habits.

Our U12s have started putting their skills to the test in game situations at Lord’s, while behind the scenes there’s been plenty of detail work too — from batting drills with middle bats to games designed to sharpen reactions, close catching and decision-making under pressure.

Across the age groups, it’s been brilliant to see the players learning, competing and enjoying the challenge. A great reflection too of the coaching environment now being built at PHCC, with real quality, energy and care going into player development at every stage.

Not long now until we get back outdoors. Summer is nearly here.

PHCC South Africa Tour 2026 🇿🇦🏏

What a tour.

Seven wins from seven, and for the first time ever, a PHCC side finished our Cape Town tour undefeated — a historic achievement on our 14th tour to South Africa.

Across 10 outstanding days, this group represented the club brilliantly. From four excellent training sessions — including time at Western Province CC and the Gary Kirsten Academy — to memorable fixtures across Cape Town, the boys competed superbly, embraced every experience, and showed exactly what makes PHCC such a special club.

There were so many moments, on and off the pitch, that made this tour unforgettable. From outstanding team performances and time together as families, to Table Mountain, the cheetah outreach programme, and a special finish at Arabella, this was a trip full of memories that will last a long time.

A huge thank you to Nick Bunn for leading the tour so brilliantly, to all of our coaches and families for helping make the trip such a success, and to everyone who helped create a lasting impact through donations to Catch Trust and Homestead, as well as kit and equipment support for our friends at Belhar CC.

These tours are about far more than results — but to go unbeaten, learn so much, and share experiences like these made this a truly special and historic trip for PHCC.

A very special South Africa tour. One we will not forget in a hurry.
