Holistic wellbeing that builds healthier teams 🧠💪 and stronger performance 🚀, turning wellness from a cost into a real return for companies 📈

04/06/2026

Corporate wellness is the only shrinking segment in the $7 trillion wellness economy.

Down -1.5% from last year.

And only 9.8% of the market has live programmes in place.

Yet outside of sleep, work is where we give the biggest piece of our lives.

Yes, I’m biased. But please:

Look after your team.

Your team carries a lot. 🤯

Deadlines. Decisions. Back-to-back meetings. The pressure of performing in one of the world’s most demanding cities.

What they carry out of a BUA FIT programme is different.

Clarity. Space. The ability to reset and go again.

This is what corporate wellness looks like when it’s done properly.

A real human. A real session. Delivered to your team, every week, wherever they are.

The outcome?

Teams that recover faster. Focus longer. Stay.

The healthiest things in life were never for sale

You can explore every wellness trend, book the best labs, and build the perfect supplement stack - but the people who commit to sustainable health habits will often outperform everyone else over time 🕰️

I see way too many people looking for the breakthrough, when real wellness is usually built through a process on your harder days

Health is like building wealth

- It takes time.
- It takes effort.
- And it compounds.

If it’s simple and hard, you’re probably on the right track. If it’s complicated and easy, it might be time to zoom out

Four sustainable habits that quietly outperform complexity:

1. An hour outside, moving in the sun

2. Real, organic food

3. Time with friends who make you laugh until it hurts

4. A book in your hands until you drift into sleep

You don’t always need to shop for your health

Sometimes, you just need to start living it.

High performance cities 🏙️ demand high performance people.

The best companies in London aren’t just competing on salary anymore.

They’re competing on culture. On energy. On whether their people actually want to show up on Monday morning.

And the ones winning?

They’ve stopped treating wellness as a perk and started treating it as infrastructure.

The outcome is measurable:

→ Stress down. Focus up.
→ Sick days reduced. Retention improved.
→ Teams that move together trust each other more - and perform differently because of it.

This isn’t a yoga 🧘‍♀️ class. This is a business decision.

I’ll never forget a hug I got from a stranger

I turned up to one of our outdoor classes during our consumer days at The Scoop. I was there for customer research. I shied away from joining in - just watched from the sidelines

After the class a woman approached me

Her: “Hey, do you work for BUA FIT?”

Me: “Yes. What’s your name and how did you find the class?”

Silence.

She took two steps forward and hugged me.

It was a long hug. She got a little emotional.

“I just want to thank you and your company for sponsoring this event and the other 11 classes. I’ve been really struggling lately. This one hour, once a week, has given me so much joy.”

She didn’t know I was the founder

I didn’t tell her

And somehow that made it mean more

That hug meant more to me (us) than our first sale.

More than our first hire.

More than our first corporate contract.

More than closing any funding round.

That’s why we do what we do.

As we close out Mental Health Awareness Week - check in on people.

Friends. Family. Colleagues.

Not a text. A real conversation.

We are living in a brutal world right now.

Kindness costs nothing. And the more you spread it - the more it flourishes.

Be kind. Always. 🤍

Mental Health Awareness Month starts tomorrow. Here are 7 things every employer can do that cost absolutely nothing.

1/ Check in - and mean it.
Not “how are you” in passing. Ask how things are going at home. Then listen. Really listen.

2/ Match employees for lunch.
Pair people across teams who wouldn’t normally talk. Isolation at work is silent and devastating. Connection is free.

3/ Remove the performance penalty from honest conversations.
If your people think talking about stress will affect their review - they won’t talk. Create the safety first.

4/ Give someone autonomy over their start time for a week.
Trust is a wellbeing intervention. Flexibility signals respect. Both cost nothing.

5/ Ask what drains them most - then actually remove one thing.
Not a survey. A conversation. Followed by action. That’s the difference between a culture that cares and one that performs caring.

6/ Replace one meeting a week with a walk.
Movement shifts mood, changes perspective, and opens people up. The best conversations I’ve had in business have never happened in a boardroom.

7/ Normalise talking about holistic health at work.
Not just fitness. Not step counts. Sleep. Stress. Relationships. Energy. The full picture. Make it part of how your culture speaks.

Mental Health Awareness Month isn’t a poster on the wall.
It’s a mirror held up to your culture.

What does yours reflect?

At BUA, we believe corporate wellness is more than yoga 🧘‍♀️ classes. A complete workplace wellness programme should cover all of these dimensions:

1. Physical - movement, fitness, energy
2. Mental - stress management, focus, resilience
3. Emotional - connection, psychological safety
4. Social - team culture, belonging
5. Financial - money confidence, security
6. Occupational - purpose, growth, balance
7. Spiritual - values, meaning, mindfulness

We deliver 60+ workshops and seminars across every one of these pillars - so your whole team thrives, not just the ones who love a lunchtime workout class.

5 questions every HR leader should be able to answer about their wellness programme.

Deloitte found employers can see a 5:1 return on every pound invested in employee wellbeing. Yet most programmes still suffer from low engagement, poor variety, and zero visibility on what’s actually working.

Here’s a quick check-in 👇

✅ The 5-point workplace wellness check

1. Do your people have access to holistic health support?

2. Is your programme easy to book and actually getting used?

3. Can you measure ROI and outcomes?

4. Does it work on-site, remotely, and outdoors for a company wide solution?

5. Do you have a long-term wellness strategy - or are you just booking one-off sessions?

If any of those gave you a pause - that’s where we come in.

BUA FIT builds bespoke, end-to-end wellness programmes around your people and your goals. We handle everything, so you can focus on running your business.

BUA means victory in Gaelic. Let’s build yours. 🏆

We spend nearly 90% of our time indoors, which isn’t how we’re designed to thrive. Fresh air and natural light ☀️ can boost focus, energy, and productivity - so why not build it into your workday?

Here are 5 simple ways to get your team outside:

1. Run an outdoor workshop or training session

2. Encourage walking meetings or taking calls outside

3. Organise a team lunch in the park 🌳

4. Set up a “fresh air hour” for focused solo work outdoors

5. Commit to a team activity on Friday - hit your targets 🎯 and earn an early finish.

Small changes, big impact. Your team (and their brains) will thank you.

The sunshine and warmer days are ahead, it’s the perfect time to rethink how your team works 🌿
